  As a Minecraft player whos played Legacy, then Console Bedrock, then Java. Java is my favorite, it has modding, far less buggy when it comes to base game, feels more fluid to play on , as a modder Java language is easier to code (C++ is pain), vast more server support, far more Performance customization and Technical Features, snapshots to play new versions early, ability to play on older versions, No Pay to play when it comes to mods, skins, and worlds, you could also use plugins and more for crossplay but its far less optimized. Bedrock, It is far more fps and load optimized and easier to run on worse systems, more simpler mechanics, Mojang verified Addons though far less advanced next to Java Mods, Partnered Servers, more Moderated, far simpler, Crossplay, it is far more advertised and has more monetization. Legacy, Feels more like the real Minecraft, most consistent, almost no bugs, not issues setting up, able to play and have fun right away, there is the Tutorial World, Minigames that were a blast at the time, and had splitscreen support even in minigames. Overall, Java is far better for my liking and feels more aimed towards Teens and above with more support and more Technical Accessibility. Bedrock feels more like a cash grab, though aimed toward young teens and children, also being a port of Minecraft Pocket Edition doesn't help the mobiley and low effort feel, at the time of me playing (A kid like most Bedrock players) It got the job done when it came to raw Minecraft, I never liked the Multiplayer as much as Java but I still dealt with it and loved it at the time but as I grew older I wanted Java more and more because it introduced a lot of variety rather than regular minecraft. Legacy has far more of a Minecraft feel but highly driven by nostalgia and was good for its time but is outclassed now. (No Version will ever beet the feel of adventuring the Tutorial World though) For regular Minecraft, being a kid, and playing with friends and family, Bedrock is better, for adding more spice to your worlds, having more multiplayer fun, early updates, and technical feel, Java is better. For having the Raw Minecraft feel and getting that Nostolgia, Legacy is better (You could also play 1.8.9 or less on Java but doesn't feel as nostalgic for me) I am prolly missing a lot btw.

  The fact I can play with people on various devices sells me on bedrock more personally. I hosted a session on my PS5, had a friend on Xbox One and another on PC join and we all had a blast! Not being restricted to one versions specific servers goes a long way when you just want some buds to group up and build/mine with.

  Started playing the game at beta 1.6. Stopped around adventure update (had things in life to go busy with). Fast forward to current time, I am 29 and just got myself bedrock edition on my console since I dont have a pc. There is so much stuff added into game it absolutely blew my mind. I dont really mind Bedrock sucks compared to Java edition. Still a nice experience :)

  It's okay man I'm java players. Now I try playing bedrock/PE in my phone because my pc is broken. I already try it and I love it, but I playing survival only because if I'm playing pvp in server with my phone I got destroyed by pc players 😂 Edit : and I promise if I got my new pc I always still playing bedrock too, because I have more friends in bedrock to playing with, that's why I love bedrock. Honestly in java I don't have friends lol

  BRO WTF IS WRONG WITH BEDROCK ADITION. I PLAY IT AND IM PRETTY GOOD (im 10 and use bluetooth to connect my xbox controller) AND I GREW UP WITH IT AND THE CUBECRAFT AREANAS IS ALL U NEED BUT IF NOT THEN MORE AND U CANT OPEN UR REALMS AND SEVERS BECAUSE U HAVE A PC AND ITS SLOW PROBILY AND EVEN WORSE THEN ASHWAGS
