  Man playing Dark Crusade's campain in Titanium Wars is something, stronghold missions take you HOURS, I remember the necron stronghold mission taking me around 4 or 5 hours, it does make it lore accurate I guess

  Lad, it’s an absolute mess because they gutted the system and setting in the name of streamlining because they thought building upon 20th Anniversary edition would be too intimidating for new players. Not “because of woke”.

  @@caliburncelt1987 Most of the problems with V5 is the lore. The systems are just stolen from VtR. They ruined everything about the lore. sabbat are dead. My favorite sect was destroyed by wokeness. Camarilla has been turned to the evil guys who want to build a wall to keep all the bad clans out. Im not even joking

  To be honest DoW 4 should just be exactly in Feeling and Graphic style like DoW 2 Vanilla but just with full DoW 1 Skirmish style, so building an army and base, making through several technological tiers along the way of battle.

  It kinda hurts my soul that the best Gundam mod for any RTs that I've played is probably the one for StarCraft, which was okay but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. I know there is one for Homeworld, there is just something about the way the mobile suits move that doesn't look right.

  Dark Crusade was realy great back than. The perma-bases were a definitive plus. BUT i dont know if it was this or soulstorm or both but the AI taking AI strongholds on higher difficulty, was playing Imp Guard Hard and the map was 90% Necron and no scripted Strongholds left for me :(, and replaying it now maybe its just me but StarCraft 2 “army blob” movement kinda ruined dawn of war for me.

  I didn't hear about Chimera Squad until a few years after it came out, but after playing it it's actually my favorite of the series. The breaching system and multi-stage levels where great adjustments to the formula and I liked all the characters. Then again I'm the type to never name my XCOM dudes or pokemon nor get all that attached to them so while the switch to a RPG type squad I really enjoyed so I can see why others might dislike that aspect. Still think it's worth the play just for the mechanical innovations if you enjoy the genre though.
