    You're really amazing. You're an advocate of natural hair and I love that.I don't fast forward when watching your videos because they make sense a lot and they're practical😅. Stay beautiful. My hair that is close to the front is thinner and my scalp flakes. Any suggestion?

    Thank you! I have a video on Scalp exfoliation...you should watch and if you are consistent, it helps with flaky scalp. Use a herbal oil or jojoba oil to do light massages for your front hair. And avoid any hair style that'll cause tension on your scalp generally. I hope these help

    Banana peel tea... interesting. I used to make roasted banana peel coffee to relax before going to bed, I will have to try your method. Thanks! ❤ Edited to add I don't wear extentions, I sometimes braid with synthetic coloured hair for the fun of it, seldom more than 15 days, and I wear wigs occasionally, again, for fun, most of them are pixie cuts and bright coloured. I love my hair in its natural state and will not go back to relaxers (I stopped 30 years ago)

    The more African women step to the forefront of natural hair spaces the less we will hear this insipid lie of long hair being a result of genetics or mixed race heritage. The natural hair movement started in the States. People...mainly other black women, were accusing natural hair youtubers of mixed genetics being the only reason their hair was growing. So much to the point they were showing DNA tests to prove how "black" they were. We live by the good hair/bad hair belief. The loser or longer your texture the more non black you must be. Good hair. Mono-ethnic appearing African women are shutting that nonsense up. Thank you!

    The title is so miss leading, not everyone will have long hair and genetic it's a real thing. In every race, you will have women with health hair but short or thinner than others. It is a fact back with science and research.

  • @purple-kp6mk
    @purple-kp6mk17 сағат бұрын

    @queennzinga5988 yes, however, there’s a general consensus in the black community that we can’t grow long hair. It is disingenuous to act like that belief doesn’t exist and that isn’t what is being addressed in this video.

    @purple-kp6mk We can't all grow long hair, sorry to burst your bubble. Every other race is not always able to grow long hair either.

    That depends on the length of your hair, how you wear your hair on a daily basis, and if you protect your hair to sleep at night.

    I agree. Many women are not willing to put in the work. It takes patience and perseverance. I lost half of my hair in November 2021 due to menopause. I started diy hair masks taught by a couple of KZread hair gurus. It took me 18 months to see the new growth. 2 years in, my hair is thriving. But I religiously treated my hair on a weekly basis. March 2024 l changed my regimen to a low manipulation one. Thanks for all your great advice. You are so right! ❤
