    Dimon has such a BIG HEART for the little ppl. In 2007 2008 his bank gobbled up smaller (distressed?) banks, and his team of best and brightest scoured the fine print of those banks sweetheart credit offers, found that most did NOT preclude acceleration , shortening, of payback period (timeframe). So, all those cards w sweetheart enticing balances shortened payback for say, 10 yrs, to 3 years. Suddenly in 2008, your monthly balance due went from $100/month to $600/month! Lord HELP you, if cash flow was fragile for during that LAST GREAT RECESSION. What a guy! And Greenspan and Larry Sommers were on BoD of Dimons bank.

    If govt does not have any control in economy as in capitalistic society, recessesion will definitely come bcos whole economy is unsecured. I feel that corruption is also high in economy where capitalism is the driving force. At the same time, I think that in socialistic economy there is corruption bcos there is heavily controlled economy by govt. Thank you.

    Lots of great insights there. If I know I am going to a difficult conversation, preparation can go a long way. But if I was confronted with an objection all of a sudden, to train myself to be more open to criticism is a very important first step.

    It depends if a country is compromise of its weakness. Systems are created to be fair, organize and sustainable. I The key here is culture and how we can see this problem as an opportunity to learn and adapt on how we can keep up. The system is changing and everyone can have opportunity towards knowledge. How we use it and whom we are with to work with, talk and brainstorm ideas. Share and make it in action does matter. Not a very much expert with m current knowledge taken but this is what I observe so far.

    ESG is just fancy crony capitalism. Where instead of price and innovation determining the winners and losers in the market, it’s government “experts”. And when the market becomes consolidated to the black rock owned businesses, then the science magically changes, and the price jacks up

    How’s “I don’t” more empowering than “I can’t”? The former could be interpreted as you are self centred and willingly choose not to accept a proposal, where the latter could convey the message that you are doing your best but things are beyond your control. Clearly “I can’t” is far more empowering in this scenario. Sorry, although I respect her work, I don’t find this guest speaker’s points convincing

    This is very unuseful where it’s a catch-response mimicking bracing for impact. It seems robotic and would shut out natural flow of conversation. Over-prepping on a comment could also prevent the responder to engage the non-verbal transfers that happen with people

    It makes me sad that a smart young woman was constantly being told she is the dumb twin. Daniela I can assure you that you are pretty smart and intelligent for your age. Being book smart is a misconception. What I can say to you is that twins do not essentially grow at the same pace. Very often there is a younger twin and older twin who in the beginning may appear to be more mature and responsible.

    Is there more corruption in developing democracies than developed democracies ? Is there more corruption in capitalistic economy than socialistic economy? I personally feel that in democracies there is accountability of govt to the people but in non-democracies there is no accountability of govt to the people. Can anyone answer? Thank you.

    Jensen has done well with NVIDIA , the company stock has been a booster for many investors. Yes I agree that the company stock is considered by many as the stock of the year, However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance

  • @Benedictrud
    @Benedictrud3 күн бұрын

    I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

    A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
