Qué preciosa canción. Recuerdo a mis padres bailando estas melodías en el living de la casa. Les fascinaba Nat Kings Cole ❤

You are following the same systems that does not allow you to tell the truth, it wasn’t Islam science or Islam art which they don’t have , it was Iranian art and science under the Islamic rule and religion , and those word are mostly Iranian name which some are similar to Arabic , try to be honest in this world then after you gone your memory last for ever , not soon or later truth comes out and people call you fraud too …

Brother, do not put other cultures down, or go learn history first. Egypt and Bengladesh were among the richest most productive countries a few centuries ago and they were both deindustrialized by England. That is why most people in those countries are still peasants. There are many reasons why the Muslim world has been delayed in its technological developments, and it likely has nothing to do with religion. Up until today North Africa and Asia are a string of dictatorships thanks to western meddling. Your comment is mostly a mess as you are talking about different events that took place during very different time periods (urbanization, compulsory schooling, building universities). Europe was also mostly peasantry during the renaissance when it began to have an advantage over the East. That advantage would have been possible without their access to Arab, Greek and Chinese learning through the Arabs and Mongols. And btw, I have lived in many Muslim countries and you dont get killed for being an atheist, i wonder where in the world you heard such ignorance. All the world's oldest universities were in Asia by the way. You should stop worrying about the history of education and go get some education yourself first.

I'm going to have to dig and see who arranged this. The way the drums, horns, strings, etc underpin Ella's celestial voice add so much color and texture to the song. Just gorgeous. May have to listen to it again. And again...

Correction** it's Hindu-Arabic numerals development in india and then later accepted by Persians. They never give credit to hindus but Hinduism is the only religion which is closest to science and mathematics. Before replying with shitty non sensical bullshit find the truth do a thorough research when you do that you'll find us on the same side (if you can take facts as facts).

Like the beat, beat, beat of the tom-tom When the jungle shadows fall Like the tick, tick, tock of the stately clock As it stands against the wall Like the drip, drip, drip of the raindrops When the summer shower is through So a voice within me keeps repeating You, you, you Night and day, you are the one Only you beneath the moon and under the sun Whether near to me or far It's no matter darling where you are I think of you night and day Day and night Why is it so? That this longing for you follows wherever I go In the roaring traffic's boom In the silence of my lonely room I think of you night and day Night and day under the hide of me There's an oh, such a hungry yearning Burning inside of me And it's torment won't be through 'Til you let me spend my life Making love to you day and night Night and day Night and day under the hide of me There's an oh, such a hungry yearning Burning inside of me And it's torment won't be through 'Til you let me spend my life Making love to you day and night Night and day

TIm O'Neill called out Neil's false history in his piece "Neil deGrasse Tyson and al-Ghazali" on his History for Atheists blog. Also Mohammed HIjab, Joseph Lumbard and others have called him out. Also his account of Bush's 9-11 speech is false. Jonathan Adler did several pieces on his Bush and Star Names story for The Washington Post. Bush's actual 9-11 speech was a call for tolerance and inclusion delivered from a mosque. I am hoping Tyson will become widely known for his falsehoods. He is a source of misinformation.

You must search for all the scientific research books that were stolen from Arab Muslims in the past centuries, and you will learn why this collapse occurred, where these books went, and how these teachings and scientific research were attributed to the thief.

What did the Arabs learnt since Islam , some of the things in astrology some 1400 years ago were, the planets and stars are receding, the stars shall fall or dissappear, the moon is moving away from earth, the planets move in an orbit and the amount of planets in our galaxy, the constellations and it's settings, the sun and a position it takes that's a phenomenon and so on. They also knew the borders of the earth will be reduced, that the seas will swell over, that there is a massive water under the earth, and the earth will have many shocks, and something will happen to the sun

What you are telling is more Arabic and very little to do with Islam. People do have achievements in science and mathematics, this was more due to pre-conversion era in Bagdad. Later, 1100s what Imaan said was an accurate interpretation of Hadees and holy book 📚📖

Anybody know about the university of taxila- anybody care to remember that the Arabs called their numeral system al hind or Hindu system and that algebra , geometry , the zero all were absorbed by the Arabs and through them to Europe and that’s why they were given Arabic names. The famous Damascus steel was Indian steel. Such a big scientist but very poor base in scientific history. How much should one compromise integrity to spread such nonsense.
