  How can anyone blend such trance-like, astonishingly original music with such a hopeful/desperate, delicious vocal about the hunger for escape via heroin or death, and turn it all into dream that sounds like what I imagine heroin feels like?   Absolute genius. I was only 12 when this was performed, but it brings back the hope for better things that was in the air at the time. I am not sure that the youth of today appreciate that we boomers could be allies.

  This song is an absolute masterpiece. Her movements on stage are so graceful and powerful, she's dominant and in complete control of the great lineup. If could go back in time, Wembley Arena 1983 would be the place, even for this song only...👏👏👏

  I will never forget seeing her at Alpine Valley, WI in 1979 with Pat, and Jaco. It seemed surreal when I was at the show. She ended the night with her 10 years anniversary of " Woodstock ". I still Love Joni!!!!!

  What a song! A lot of those girls were raped, and in some cases by a family member. The girl sent to the Launderies while her assailant boasts about his conquest to his drinking buddies on a bar stool. Ireland be not proud! 👎
