My name is Gabe, I've been working in car dealerships as technician since 2008.
I'm a technical trainer now and my goal here is to just share some of the things I've learned working on cars over the last 15 years.
I started a family really young and I have three kids now, so being a parent and a husband takes up a big chunk of my time outside of work.
Cars have always been my passion, but I try to keep things fun and light. So sometimes I'll share different places and events we go to, or just random things goin on in my life.
I hope you can learn a few things here, maybe get a few laughs in, and are inspired to go after your own dreams cuz life is short.

thank man thant was helpful and easy take care 🤙💪
Can I add the knob to my Porsche that currently uses the key to start it
I'm gonna say probably not. Unless the car came with it and someone removed it. This was like a keyless ignition option that not all Porsches came with.
I used it, flabbergasting
I have a special tool a car crasher it works great 👍
Gone for 2025 in the GTS😢
Is it safe to keep riding as is? I just bought a Porsche macan 2015 and have this issue but def don’t have the thousands of dollars for the repair
Yes I would say it is safe to drive, however I would recommend checking and topping off oil often. Cost of repair may not be as expensive you think if taken to the right technician. It is really just two small aluminum bolts that need replacement and maybe 2-3 hours of labor
@@roadstertech I called Porsche and they wanted to replace the bolts and seals and said it can cost up to $6k! They were trying to def scare me and get their sale in. They also said I have to get it done or else my car will break down and break power steering etc
Sounds like they quoted you to re-seal the whole timing cover. I would do a little more research on this and shopping around
That's interesting, I'm sure but why would you want to remove the dummy key?
You'd really only need to remove it when programming a new key fob or if you wanted to replace the dummy key for one that was like a different color or something
Oh dang. Sim racing ❤
Yea bro this was is awesome.
I want my boyfriend to take me here
Haha it would make a really dope place for a lunch date 🌹
My ‘17 911 doesn’t require cycling the ignition twice. With the remote outside of the car, simply turn the ignition on, then off…the click occurs, and I can remove the dummy.
Good tips here. Best of luck with the channel. I'll continue to (over)pay someone to service my vehicle haha.
Haha thanks for the feedback brotha
Thank you for making this video! It was so helpful!
Awesome! I'm glad it helped
Thank you! My car dealer never mentioned this comes out. I thought it was stationary and I just needed the key fob in order to turn this ignition key 😅
Hi Artur, thus is great! Short and informative, but could you please show other side?
Finally some class in this industry.
Nope, missing a step. Did not work
Hold down on what?
You are holding down the parking brake switch
They are broken because of the use of impact wrenches.
Is this necessary for front brake pad replacement
No it is not. Only rear brakes 👍🏽
It's probarbly the tps. You measure on the old, and install on new with same ohms.
Say What?
I was thinking about a macan but I'm going to creep my way into porsche by starting off with Audi.
I would like to thank you too. I did the sequence to put my CX 5 in maintenance mode so I could change my rear rotors and as I was working on the first side I heard a bunch of chattering coming from the front. I don't know why or what it was but when I went to put it out of maintenance mode the car was completely dead! The only light in the dash was the airbag light. I checked and only had 3.6 volts in the battery and it would not take a charge. I let it set overnight with the battery unhooked and when I hooked up the battery it somehow returned to 12.6 volts. The car actually started, so I shut it off and followed your sequence and it worked! The only thing different was that I had to push the start button three times. Thank you so much for your help! You are a lifesaver!
Thank you
Can you demonstrate how you can use the entertainment set (tablet and headphones) if you no longer use it in a Porsche?
Great video, can you upload a Video of the spark plug change for a 992? I’m a DIY guy and want to change my own spark plugs on my 992. If you upload a video on replacing the plugs on a 992….yours will be the only one on KZread! Thanks in advance.
Very helpful, thank you. One thought; diminish the music volume.
Sticker price is so hilarious. Not worth that whatsoever
Will need more sugar to make good foam 😊😊
I wonder how the gearing is set up in correlation to the top speed & acceleration 🤔
Over priced
Хочу себе такой, будут деньги куплю только с Евро ручками как у прошлых авто.
Хочу себе такой, будут деньги куплю. 💰😄
7 speeds are silly and you’ll end up going from 4 to 7 on accident a lot.
Noooooo bro you have to be in 5th or 6th gear to go into 7th gear ❤
7th gear lockout
Someone stole my dummy key! how do i start my car without it?
Stick your key fob in there and turn it
Retarded price
My guess is it really needs that 7th gear for the highway mpg.
The valve being snug was a relief after the spacer rattling around like that
Why would you remove it, otherwise youre gonna have to use your key??
Some people like to switch them out for different colors, and if you need to program a new key you have to remove it first
Plus, I live in fear that some knucklehead is gonna walk by, see the fake fob sticking out, assume I left the real key in the ignition, break the window, climb in and try to steal the car…
Cool car
That’s a $150K car, but it has $67K in options. Ridiculously optioned out.
THANKS!!!
That’s just right side, can you also post the right side? There is some wiring on that side.
Are the changing the spark plugs on the V8 models way more difficult?
Yea they are a lot trickier to get to for sure
Love your content on the Cayenne's. Keep it up, especially if you can show the V8's too!
Thanks brother appreciate the feedback
Coches que con 100.000 km pueden arruinarte😂😂😂
6 figures for a v6 that's not even pushing 400 hp yeah I'm good on that one.
Man I wish I got a day or two lol, my service advisor would come in half way threw & be like oh yeah customer needs this back today 🤘🏼
Haha luckily its a used car and I can take my time
348hp for over 106k? No thx
Damn that's base with no turbo , sorry but I could never fathom paying six digits for anything other than a 911
