What fun I had.

Colin has the talent of dropping in and out of accents. His natural accent is of course from Armagh in Northern Ireland, but he has a perfect RP English accent as Merlin and can do a very decent American accent.

I discovered Merlin here in America only 3 months ago! Where has this series been my whole life! Absolutely LOVE it, and Colin Morgan. Shocked that it's been 10 years since it first came out! Also just as shocked that Hollywood did not snatch Colin Morgan up and put him in movies! Collin would have been an enormous success here in the States. Hollywood missed the bus on this one! It isn't too late though, Colin Morgan is only 36 years old. I want to see him in an American-made film!!

Colin's not very Hollywood. I think if he's ever in something so high profile, he'd probably have to scurry back to theater, radio narration and audiobooks right after to let the attention die down a bit before he comes back up for air. He definitely seems to prefer low visibility.

This ending would have made so much more sense. I love the idea of Merlin's journey ending when Arthur's journey is beginning. The show could have killed off Merlin, but Merlin would have died happy knowing that he helped ("mentored") Arthur grow into the great king he is now. And Arthur would have united Albion and reinstated magic into Camelot in honor of his dearest friend. The ending we actually got was too damn sad...
