    As a former nun, I can offer some insight into this mysterious book. It's not written in any language, known or unknown. It wasn't meant to be read silently, but to be sung as part of a healing ceremony for women's health issues, specifically those living in medieval Italian cloisters. The herbs, astrological signs, and recipes throughout the book are symbolic representations of the connection between human health and the natural world. Imagine chanting a rhythmic, medieval song based on the markings in this book. This chant would have been used in a ceremony to promote women's healing, incorporating practices like therapeutic baths. The reason linguistic and cryptographic analysis have failed, and will continue to do so, is because this isn't code or a secret language. It's a form of musical notation. To understand this book, we need to focus on the intonations and sounds associated with the different symbols, rather than trying to translate them word for word. This is where musicology can be incredibly helpful in deciphering the melody.

    "sung as part of a healing ceremony for women's health issues" okay, sung HOW...? "Imagine chanting a rhythmic, medieval song based on the markings in this book" okay, then why write anything down? If it's like glossolalia ('speaking in tongues'), then why write anything down at all!?!? If you make mouth noises, you probably aren't going to remember them... for some reason, children learn very immediately all the noises people make, and hence languages carry on into time immemorial... but when people die, those 'noises' stop being remembered... this is far more likely then an idea that 'it is sung' interpretations... AS A matter of FACT, not to downplay your point too hard, I would agree somewhat!!! However, taking a medieval example of 'do-re-mi' were still written with musical notations (although simplistic) and not just the written word... You can find examples of these all over wiki, they are 'chanted hymnals' circa 15th cent. "understand this book, we need to focus on the intonations and sounds associated with the different symbol" Again, this would just mean it's words and not singing as no 'real' notation is present... interpretation as a musical work is silly... it is a linear construction and most musical notation requires some aspect of depth (i.e. a scale along with time... guitar tabs for example are 'eadgbe' as rows top to bottom)

    Wow, great job! I cracked it years ago using the Friedman values. It certainly is NOT a Hoax! Numbers do not lie. Cryptographers William F. and Elizabeth Friedman cracked the Voynich cipher exactly way back in the 1940s. But because the result did not resemble any known readable language or sentence structure most experts foolishly dismissed them. It is so easy the Experts should be ashamed! It was obviously never meant to be a readable language, but a Number Series hidden under 2 layers of cipher. One which very well proves the Law of Vibration, Cycle Structure, and forecastable patterns of Mass Human Behaviour (a common academic practice of the era). The use of the Ciphers allowed the writer of the manuscript greater freedom to give the exact number series he needed, without the usual constraints of known languages and alphabets to perfect the accuracy of the results. The Friedmans like all competent cryptologists knew the Bible Cipher (borrowed by Freemasons), a key to cracking the structure. We are also alerted by the sentence structure’s common use of “8” (Eight), the word “AIR” appearing many times (as in the LORD in the AIR), the Zodiac representation, numbers everywhere. We are further Alerted by the Illustrations thru out the book - obvious Esoterica 101, but no one anyone else will understand. The writer’s extensive Botanical illustrations of non-endemic European “Trees” screams Hidden God to me. The Botanical illustrations are not real Trees, like a Burning Bush. With leaves from one plant, and flowers, roots etc. borrowed from others. The illustration clues on each page fine-tune the cycle placement very well.

    The alphabet contains 4 different character set from languages spoken in same way but written in different form. There was no consistency of a set language in the region. The merchants/judicial holy Sindhu men started using 3,4 languages mix in order to hide the contents( depending on the knowledge of the person and area he traveled ). This was done to protect business know-how and maintain superiority at that time. The languages used by the merchants of North western Multan and Sindh were “Multani” and “Landa/Khudabadi/Mahajani” apart from other regional dialects and written words. It was what the Sindhu Mahajan’s( Merchants ) used to do. This kind of book and knowledge was in demand as people relied on auspicious moon cycles and it was part of daily life and it is still in many parts of the world.

    You did a great job, and an thanks for the video! but...The Voynich Manuscript was decoded three years ago,but the shocking results pop up only a month ago, and there is the paper that I published in Academia.Edu." The Voynich Manuscript. This is not a official scientific paper or another theory from the amateur researcher! There is Special Thanks to everyone who shared their results of researches and helped to “fill up an empty gaps” by technically wrong theories.Wrong?...because from thousands of researchers around a globe, just two persons was capable to write back in “Voynich” after a question “builded” mostly from the words which doesn’t existed in VMS. But even them was somewhat wrong or lets say, not fully understand even by me. The question was “why the short stories with very simplified text was written in the strange script, where nobody (almost) cannot even “crack” an exact alphabet? If there not a single reciepe,no star maps or some aliens or magic, where is a point? Yes, I did called “Voynich” language as a bridge between one basic language to any other, also I proved that can be read by a kids with great memory or just simply using a laptop. Another question of mine was” Why there is a stories from many countries,events and mentioned a persons from different times?”. That’s why I totally disagreed that manuscript is six hundred years old, let’s say the text, is more than two thousand years old (based on readings) and there is no questions for me about an author identity. But there is a BIG FEW QUESTIONS NOW” 1. How the even “supper human brain” could keep that amount of knowledge? 2. Why that knowledge wasn’t shared with everyone? 3. Why that book wasn’t destroyed by Catholic church? 4. (the”stupidest”one) ,Is that Manuscript even hundred years old? And now the very special Thanks to great scientist and hard worker Mr Don Hoffman! Before I did a promise” I will never touch a VMS again after i have read over hundred pages”, but after he posted a paper about a page p1v, I change my mind. The reason was simple, I all a time tried to protect my “version” of translation and true purpose of the book, and I just act immediately, but in different way. I have again read 1v page which telling a story about heavy fight for toddler life who had Myasthenia gravis and how he was cured by decision of team of six doctors...they was wrong, he had a Jakson disease. Of course there was some details of curing by some”straws” to release a fluids from the scull and some screams and other details in very simplified language...but again, there is a question”How in six hundred years old book can be described a disease which was fully discovered in 1887, but Jackson-Weiss in 1997 ?????!!! Well, there was a problem to get a right answer, because if there is so many of them, you getting so confuse and kind of lost if there is so many of “answers” and many “voices”. But I simply remembered the one saying from VMS” If question is clear-will be a right answer”, that’s really worked out. So there how you can get an answers if you capable to “destruct cods and computing system by “clear” questioning”. Of course, somebody will not accept this, but for me that was so exiting and mind blowing. There is a full translation of the p1v, and I agreed, I was somewhat wrong to share my doubts before-apologize! “One of the most important steps in creating a creative environment is understanding ideas and thoughts. This is because feeling safe to communicate these concepts leads to being both more productive and motivated. Personally, I have always had difficulty trying to motivate others due to actually keeping track of progress being very difficult, however when we can have open and honest conversations about various ideas it gives us a sense of confidence that the group will be successful. It's really hard make effective teams, but in those moments where we feel motivated and confident all our confidence increases. This happens more often with some groups than others I'm not sure why; maybe there are certain attributes which lead groups towards this type of motivation? In the end though I think it comes down to having a collective sense of motivation- something that doesn't need to be inherent but should just naturally arise from attitudes held by team members.” ...its shocking right? Also on this particular page, there is no plant at all, but a picture of process, “skull”, and probable were wasn’t a kid at all. There(I believe) is a psychology in the level which wasn’t seen before and wasn’t recorded( excluding VMS ), should we call VMS as “Philosopher stone”? All right, let’s say for the moment now “Its solved!”. I’m afraid it not. The reason is simple again, I removed from original”voynich” text a six words from each sides and there is what I got. “There are two ways to approach solving a problem: by pulling or pushing. While each has its own strengths and weaknesses, using either method requires that you be willing to behave in ways that may not seem optimal at first glance. In the case of the solver on board behaving dangerously towards an unbeliever (by pulling), but still being able to achieve results (compress), it is important for us as individuals to remain open-minded and accept failure as part of life's journey. The person who shouted "yup" six times during our conversation was actually doing so because he felt strongly about what we were saying; his shouts served as a way of communicating this passionately . However, despite his efforts, our discussion did not result in free speech being established on your father's behalf - something which he was very upset about. Six mornings ago” What do you think Lads? To be honest I have no clue. “He” said”Choosen”,who are they?...also a “team”-again...and even”He” speak as one person but never showed up(excluding few offers to “shut up”(sorry).Ok, last “holder” died ten years ago, but who keeping “this” now?...computer systems? ...impossible! How explain this?...any doubts, if you somewhat interested about it? Share it please, I got lost completely. Otherwise, now Im sure, there is no way to get a right information from the VMS even if you have a right alphabet an can read it easily, its all about listening and understanding. Also there was a phrase about emptying sculls, for me that mean “forget your fake teachings if you like to take the my ones”, or save the place in your scull. So the final statement (of course the theory of mine only and nobody else should worry about it). Somehow in those times one “brain” could collect amount of information which was impossible to do in highly powerful computer in present days, like a try put in PC with 100Gb some 100Tb. Of course, there is kind of sick theory of mine “HOW?”...if our computers working on”0 and 1” binary system, then that “lad” have a 0,1 and 2 system, which capable to hide or seek, self learning and controlling, but “he “can’t stand up against 0,1,2 and 3 system, and will answer to the questions truly and behave like a highly trained guard dog. Im not that smart to explain that all ”thing”, but there is doubts about it...well” The Voynich” not for everyone for sure,to”chew that, will take an “amount” of ... Good luck, and get to be chosen!

    I'm puzzled by the statement that Newbold invented the 'Roger Bacon' idea. Wilfrid's address of 1921 says very plainly that it was his own very first 'gut reaction' to the manuscript when he first saw it. I am also intrigued by the statement that Rudolf owned the manuscript. The historical evidence says no more than that it was related, as a piece of hearsay from someone who could not have been present at the time of the supposed purchase, and the person relating it refused to endorse the tale. More - if there is any evidence of its being 'bequeathed by Rudolf' I'd be delighted to see that documentary evidence. So far as I know, it's just a piece of invention, chiefly promoted by an adherent of the 'central European theory' and there are serious historical problems with the proposed timeline for what happened to it after Kircher received it - as we presume he did. The trunk in which Voynich says he found it suggests that it had lain there for decades - before which, Becxx had spent years away from Rome. Still, if there's documentary evidence for any of these things, I'll always take them into account.

  • @lisafagindavis8624
    @lisafagindavis86243 жыл бұрын

    Newbold didn't "invent" it, but he was the first to try to "prove" it. And it isn't at all certain that Rudolf owned the manuscript - Marci says so in his letter to Kircher, but no one has ever found any other evidence to support that contention. It COULD be true, but we just don't know for sure.

    You state that the manuscript reminds you of Italian Humanist period, but not to use that fact as a guide because it could have been created in (your words) "Timbuktu". I disagree, common sense dictates that if it looks to be of Humanist Italian Period, and carbon dated to that time, most likely it is and not from "Timbuktu". It makes sense that it is from the Italian Humanist period and location of creation. However, thanks for the great insights and perspectives.

  • @lisafagindavis8624

    I know from our previous conversations that you WANT it to be from Humanistic Italy, but the evidence for that place of origin is really circumstantial. It MIGHT be, but Humanistic styles were used throughout Europe during this period, and the resemblance to Humanistic letterforms is just that, a resemblance only. It's not proof.
