Thank you for this great upload! I always watch those legendary races when I go to sleep. They are so calming, there’s something magic of the autoracing of yesteryear. The manufacturers build truly unique cars which each had design and technology of its own. Together with the knowledgeable commentators it is just great to watch and truly comforts me in a cloud of nostalgia. Thank you for making this possible with your upload :)

Daragh Slowey I was there in 1990 as well, as a 17 yo. My best friend at the time, his uncle was Tom Walkinshaw. We got pits passes and Silk Cut shirts to wear, so cool. Ya the Jags were fast but it was a tough day of racing with both Jags DNF'ing. TW was pissed. My friend and I rode away in the open back trunk of TW's XJ road car, we all headed for St Catherine's for a bite. There was a street closure going on, all the bars were having this fun day out, and one of the competitions was carrying a server's tray through obstacles etc and then a tug of war between pubs, so these two skinny waiters come running into the restaurant we were in, took a look at TW, a man who was pure farm boy big, and coerce him and my buddy's dad to help out, he wasn't in the mood after the day at the track but the waiters wouldn't leave without them and convinced them to help out and both fellas jumped in, I dunno if they won, but they came back laughing and slapping each other on the back. A bad day at the track was easily forgotten. Ya gotta love Montreal and the 90's.

@@christianponicki9581 its quite naive to think that Nissan's IMSA spec cars are faster than the C11, it implies that they're faster than Nissan's JSPC/WSPC cars, being that way that the Mercedes and Nissan cars were rarely in a wheel to wheel situation, due to the Mercedes being much faster. It doesn't make much sense, because Nissan had much more less budget in IMSA but their WSPC counterparts budget was obviously bigger in order to have better aerodynamic development and even though they had that budget, they were no near Mercedes speed.

@@juliom3775 Nissan's IMSA team was a totally different one from their international teams, and the IMSA car was totally different too. The IMSA Nissan probably _was_ way faster than any Group C Nissan, since GTP cars had more power, in some cases were lighter, always produced much more downforce and were designed for fast lap times instead of endurance. e.g., the C11 made ~6000lbs of downforce while the Nissan GTP made anywhere from 7500 to 9000lbs+, and the Nissan made 900+hp while the C11 (afaik) made 600 or 700.
