  DS-3E0510P Is this model good or better than this? But I see only one RJ45 uplink port? So I wont be able to connect to router if I chose 05 model?

  If possible, get a PoE switch with 2 uplink ports. If not, you can go with the DS-3E0510P. Both the NVR and PoE should be connected to the same router.

  for longer distances, you might want to use two pairs for the power and a dc 1*2 splitter because you need thicker wire for less voltage drop

  Yes, for long distance dc power will not flow on single pair so we can use two pairs, Or Increase the DC output voltage from the camera SMPS to avoid voltage drop
