  As a freshman in college, I relate to you so much. We're ending the 2nd semester and I kinda wonder how im the only who doesn't belong and don't want to belong in a friend group - out of choice but you know, you just gotta keep livin.. As long as you know how to be content with your own company, I think its more than enough. Big hugs Xx ❤

  My advise is to take that first step and talk to someone you feel you might connect with. Be wise tho, many people aren’t the type of person who you think they are at first. Have fun… more fun since you already doing what’s bringing you joy. Join a club, go on a hike. Hang with people that play the music you like to listen to. Work on your craft by going to the gym and keeping a healthy body. Do yoga or Pilates. Go to the park or campus social area and try joining a group of people that are doing an activity that interest you. Make it fun, like that first day at kindergarten or middle school when you were trying to make friends.

  It does matter to some people, but I believe you are not one of them judging by your comment. which is good for you but let's not dismiss it as if it does not actually happen, and also try not to associate not having friends with mental health crises.
