Welcome to my channel. My name is Daniel and I am based in London. As I am Hungarian-born, I visit my birth town of Budapest regularly, thus I am based there too.
Please feel free to browse through my channel which has a wide-range of train related videos, including model train reviews, visits to heritage railways and also general train videos showing trains either in regular service or on a rail tour. You will also find videos on trains, trams and metros in Budapest and any other city I visit.
Sit back and enjoy the channel!

class 77 Manchester-Sheffield had 2 sets of pantographs!!!!
Them ETH cables are a pain to fit.
Nice, but it's even nicer to come home to your friends and family. I hope we will see you back on your home turf, capturing steam engines hard at work, before Summer turns to Autumn.
A train with panda like coaches
Great shot at 10:50 with the 5 locos at Swanage
Wonderful model. Is it difficult or easy to service the motor and the mechanism?
Percy's wheels slip
lovely video such a unique railway this is certainly has the atmosphere of days gone by.
Nice I went on that day
What a video mate! And what a day! Although I wonder where your hat is right now 😂😂
Yes mate, fantastic day! Probably eaten by a goat by now 😂😂😂😂
Sounds like the class 315.
In early 1960's Sussex, I used to delight in riding on the H Class-hauled Pull-Push service between Three Bridges and East Grinstead, passing through Rowfant and Forest Row to the high-level part of the old East Grinstead station.
Nice.

Nice & Steamy.
Nice model. The Westerns look great in Maroon. Note: when they were originally introduced, Maroon and green were the most common liveries applied. The Maroon locos also had white window surrounds. with yellow on the buffer beams only; half yellow ends appearing slightly later. Full yellow ends were applied in the mid 1960s (1967?) to some of the locos that remained in maroon livery for a few more years instead of being painted in blue.
Its a C -C WHEEL ARANGEMENT Hymeks are B-B
🙂
Do trams fascinate you in some way?
Very much so
Never mind the review, lol. Where's the Easter Eggs-press? Happy Easter.
I’m abroad so I can’t do an Easter special train this year unfortunately
Bachmann's recent releases of the 9F have tender pickups and the DCC socket in the tender.
Hi Daniel I hope you are well I got put off a Bachmann 9f by a big youtuber But great review Running session could be longer Keep safe ARP
Thank you, I’ll take your feedback onboard
Happy Easter.
Very excellent and great railroad
'Promosm' 😓
Pity there are no steam engines about.
There are three preserved the guy who owns 13159 plans to restore it with its frames currently at the East Lancashire Railway and building a new boiler for it. As the boiler was reported to be beyond economic repair and I see online rumbles that we could see 13065 back this year or next year.
Just be careful the pincer-like handrails don't nip your fingers, lol. Those crabby steamies can be quite vicious without meaning to. I do love her all the same.
I had my DCC sound fitted, and i love it. Great little performer.
Story is worried thomas
Hi Daniel I hope you are well And had a good time at ally pally It a excellent model saying it split chassis Rapido now need to do a 0-4-0 tram Keep safe ARP
The J70 steam tram engine was the base design for Toby the Tram Engine from Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. I don't have the J70 steam tram engine himself, but I do have Bachmann Toby the Tram Engine and his carriage, Henrietta.
Right up my alley. Got any LMS engines like Bobby the Black 5?
*class 507 sounds intensify*
Right up my alley. What's not to love about God's Wonderful Railway?
No Gresley was right (gwr) 😂😊
@@AdiPullen Excuse me, Mister. Can't we agree on God's Wonderful Railway, the nickname of Great Western Railway, lol? There are two ways of doing things: the Great Western Way or the wrong way.
how come they stopped it because now I don't see any at all
Maybe because they were unsuitable for the route
@@MegaTrainlover they do still do Shepparton and Epsom but I don’t get it as they did the Chessington Line so much in 2013-2015 years
great video!!
Really sad that they replaced the southern 455 with a west 455😢
Great video and nice to meet you there!
Thank you and nice to meet you too!
Great shot! I love Budapest Metro Line 1.
My favourite of the 4 lines!
That loop ought to be in the station area, so two trains can be there at once. Plus, it's easier when an engine can run round to take the coaches back the other way. However, I can understand why the railway had to be laid in a different pattern. Nice selection of steamies. Any favourites? You can never have too many.
There was no room for a second platform at Groombridge, hence the loop outside the station. Hard to choose a favourite, I loved all of them.
Lovely model. I have the very similar Derwent Grange. I think the future of our hobby is looking good with many new makes and models appearing. Thanks for showing. Regards Paul.
The hobby isn't dead yet. Rails Of Sheffield are still going strong. Love your Grange engine, a smaller GWR steamy came out of the Grange Class shape: the GWR Manor. Any chance of seeing a proper running session with the engines you have?
I own a Hornby black 5 44781 weathered which looks good and Hornby a did run of the Grange. Some years with two versions paired with the GWR 3500-gallon Churchward tender.
I keep thinking about getting this loco.
I bought this and quite like it. Having real connecting doors is better than Marklin bother with!
love the hisses
