Can too much water in the tank cause this? I had this exact problem and cleaned the pilot valve and then installed a new pilot valve all with the same results. Notice my tank has quite a bit of water.

Have a new Jenny compressor, the pump shuts off when pressure is reached, but the fan never shuts off???

Jenny Compressors are available with several control packages. A constant run machine will unload at pressure but not stop turning. This feature is designed to reduce the starts per hour on electric motors for high volume applications.

Would an ultrasonic cleaner clean the carbon buildup from the valve?
OMG FINALLY I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR HOURS. The one you are leaning on is the one I have. It has a marathon electric motor on it I need to start Capacitor and the Capacitor. Can you help me ALSO If not what's the smallest electric motor I can use for that 4-cylinder monster

Sir, I believe you misspoke in your video as to how much tension there should be. You state 1/8" deflection per 1" of span and that is incorrect. The correct figure according to jenny's manual is 1/64" per 1" of span. This is stated and there is diagram on page 42 of the manual. Other than that I found your videos very good.

The Pilot valve is set short to force the un-loaders open to allow the machine to go into an idle mode while in constant run.

Question? Is the pressure switch set at 95-125 psi while the pilot is set for 90-120psi to allow for the pressure switch to supply power to the motor constantly in run mode?

you forgot to say you need to release the pressure in the tank first before you work on it.

yes, some caps have bleed off resistors and some don't but you never know if the caps are fully discharged, It's always a good idea to short the terminals with a screw driver first before disconnecting the wires to ensure you do not get shocked. Also when caps go bad they will continue to hold a charge when they should of been drained.

You can run 2 of them but if you add an extra air tank (airkeg tank of rol air) you can run 4

Awesome Videos. My unloader pin was not broken, but it was stuck. I removed it, cleaned it and reinstalled it and my compressor is working perfect again. Thank you so much for this video. Great job.
