2:59,saw BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID here in THE GEM theatre in 1969 along with SAM WHISKY.used to go to rainbow liquore store here on main street as kids and would go to the park next to the gem theatre and play on the metal merry go round and recreation center.3:10,used to be a big concrete amphetheatre or stage in the middle of the park

I'm from Nebraska and lived in Santa Ana and Tustin. in the 80s. Precious memories . Zebs boathouse. And this mex rest. LaFontanda??. Ton 80 dart bar. Ordered hamburger steak. Not a taco. Lol. The smell of the city . All makes me almost cry . Sentimental. Growing up in a farm town of 200 people was an unbelievable experience for a 22 year old. I will say they had almost zero street vendors in them days. And also note I remember seeing or hearing of little or no crime.. a very conservative city. Has itt changed ?

Yes, the 4th street used to be one of the best places to be on the weekend but after the pandemic, many businesses closed and never came back. Hopefully in the future, it goes back as it used to be.

I have but specially on weekends when they are busy they don’t give you your complete order, as far as taste it’s good as any other Mac Donald’s but the items don’t look as good as other places.

1990 viví allá y francamente no le hicieron el favor, llenaron de puestos toda esa zona, recuerdo los portales, cerca de ahí había un puesto que vendía mucho de tortas de colitas de pavo, por esa calle estaba plaza coloso y existía un supermercado llamado hipermart, que luego se fusiona con soriana. Estaba mejor antes.

not quite the same from 1970. i ran all over this city in 1970 and i was only 16 years old. no one ever bothered me just a nice smile. one thing i do remember is the wax museum close to the penny bridge that the Frankenstein dummy chased us around the museum and scared the crapola out of us! long live juarez!
