Thanks I do forget trust me I even get some names mixed up. Yes Flower Power is a lovely rose I’ve had it since 2009 when I inherited a garden and I’ve had it with me ever since. Has a lovely sweet fragrance.

More beautiful roses, they are the bees knees. We only have peony roses that are over eighty years old they bloom in early May with little or no care.

Thank you. Yes Aloha is a beautiful short climber or can be grown as a shrub. It has a beautiful and strong damask fragrance. If you could ever find space for it I’d give it a try.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful roses. Quite a lot of varieties I’ve not heard of. Most of them appear to be free of black spot. What is your solution? Natural spray or choosing disease resistant varieties?

Hi thank you. I don’t spray my roses. I just feed regularly and I use a diluted solution of Epsom salts once a month.

Yes English garden is becoming one of my faves. Pear is good too I got them both from Trevor White as bare roots. So if you find this Autumn you have a little space maybe try them out. Thanks again still a few more to bloom yet. Will update when they come out.

I like your garden, especially the david austin roses. Do you recommend the emma hamilton, gabriel oak, and gertrude jekyll in terms of the shapes of plants, repeat power and fragrance? Luckily, you have all three of them. Thanks

I do recommend them all. I’d say all 3 have a powerful fragrances. All being very different but very nice all the same. Gertrude is blooming machine I’ve had blooms non stop from May. Gabriel seems to be a good repeater and I can’t comment on Lady Emma just yet as she’s new for me but I already love her.

AS all my roses are grafts will they simply produce seeds that will express the rootstock
