So I’m curious….. how much would it take to build a filter in the center of the community? Say a drinking well of sorts so anyone could stop by and fill up? Your house was $250 ish? So perhaps $500? I’m interested in facilitating this for the locals
That would be amazing wherever that is. At the community center US$500 would pay for the materials, labor required and one years connection to the town water (which needs to be filtered).
nice work in our country mostly village side women pasting mud with husks and it's very nice to see you again the same work enjoy and your passion of work is admirable ❤❤ Love from Pakistan
My understanding is the leachate has a short self life and needs to be used right away. Is this true? In your EM1 video you put sugar in with it to make it last longer, can you do the same with the Bokashi leachate? Or are there other ways to preserve it for future use?
Keep out if the sun. You can telling its good from the smell. It will also go dark when it's losing power. I guess it keeos around 3-6 months tops perhaps longer in ideal conditions ( no sunlight exposure)
do yall keep the pee after it's collected? what would that be used for? or is it just easier to wash out the house this way?
The pee can be diluted 1:2 water as a natural pissticide. 1: 7-10 as a fertilizer. Works great
Where does.the.water come from to fill.the barrels? Is it rain water? What if it doesnt rain?
From the town water and when that fails from the well
All that beautiful earthern work for the walls and put in a cement floor ?!? Gonna trap moisture underneath there brother !
Mate the ants are killer on mud floors here and with the need to wash out periodically from the rabbits was better to be pragmatic and use cement as the foundation and floor
Mashallah❤ Very nice. Got many ideas from your video.
A cheap and quick DIY way to encourage better fermentation is to tell you users to put a balloon on top of the bottle you can see the fermentation that way and the back pressure helps the fermentation and a balloon is like $0.10 and will improve your process
Brilliant idea and I like the idea of providing for the community . Well done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Excelente
Prachtig ❤
Thank you
Thank you for this informations
God job❤
Can one use rice bran instead of sawdust?
Love this video keep making more videos like this and save Mother Earth from chemicals
thank you so much I will collect those from the beaches
what can we add to filter the fluoride ?
Clean, crushed sea shells if you are by the ocean
What do you think about using the Bokashi materials/compost in a worm bin? I have ordered a 500 pack of worms to start a worm bin so i don't want to hurt the worms.
Why did u use rice wash insted active dry yeast
Good
Veri nice information I like your information I am from Pakistan
thank you
Thanks for helping me save some money!!!
A mixture of natural materials and chemical?
"It's recharging its memory". Did I hear that right? Water has a memory? News to me.
On my bottom layer of my filter i use cotton material but im wondering if mould will grow on this material, seems like it will
Lemon juice to activate charcoal? Is the process that activates charcoal?
question...when u say 10:1 is 10 cups of milk for 1 cup of rice water?

I really liked the video and you make a lot of good points. My only problem with worldpackers is that it seems to have way less skilled volunteers. But I do agree that as a platform it is a lot better than workaway. I guess it will just take some time for the volunteer pool to become bigger.
Sorry not a good video
very nice bro
Greetings from Missouri. Gearing up for our growing season here in eastern Missouri. Long time coming after having to get a bone marrow transplant and spending weeks in the hospital. Longtime fan of the channel!
Can you make a video to prove that this stuff works ? Spray one plant and leave another without spraying to see results after a couple of months
You can see the difference 2 days later. The most graphic example was in a standard of corn. Where applied was 40cm taller, thicker and produced corn whereas the other didn't produce.
I want to volunteer worldwide, currently, I've stepped away from my big Amazon corporate job and I just want to experience my one and only life to my fullest while helping others! omg sounds like a dream! thank you for this video! very helpful for hostes AND volunteer's!
if you inject relatively clean water in the input with chlorine in it it will kill bacteria then the biofilm will not form on the sand, so the filter will use only physical and chemical filtration but not biological, which is your goal I suppose. Have you had your water tested in a laboratory ?
Yes, coliforms were detected. We installed uv light on the end to take care of it
@@Kaiwaipermaculturebolivia why do you have coliforms if you have chlorine in the water ?
@@felixdebon962 have not been regular with batch processing and applying. Also while we have some CDS we don't produce it so would rather integrate uv to remove that dependancy
@@felixdebon962 Cl02 not chlorine
very good thank you
Ah...we bought one of those biolan toilets with the black chimney pipe. We are waiting till spring to install it when we renovate the bathroom.
Thanks and bless you 🙏
Could you help your neighbor with digging a couple of ponds on his property so he'll stop using black water. It's really sad he's doing that.
Would you please make a detail video of the process and the ratio used in plastering?
excelente ... ubicacion pra ir a copiar ese tema
Unreal what your neighbor is doing. What a nightmare. Anyway, Have you seen Joel Salatin’s raken houses. (Rabbit and chicken), worth checking out
Your videos haven’t been showing up on my feed so I have like 5 or 6 videos to catch up on. Awesome to see the progress you’ve made!
Thanks for posting this. I’ve just recently been invaded by these cutter leaf ants and they are a force to recon with. I’m in a rural area in s. E. Texas and don’t like chemicals or how much they cost, been fighting them with gas and backbone
Did you need a building permit or follow building codes
No. There’s none of that here in Bolivia where we live.
3 1/2 min in, I had to stop. The presentation is TERRIBLE. Maybe let the lady give it a shot at presenting the video. I would like to hear about the project/process but the "presentation" is AWFUL.
How do you clean the filters?
Amazing video! I'm on it! Magnolia, Texas.
Magnolia, Texas?! That’s where Jessica went to high school.
I just started with half a cup brown rice. I dont see the white coloring after stirring. Does that mean that brown rice cannot be used? Thank you! I found your film at the right time!
