Your favorite chord progression is what I call the "Phil Ochs Thresher" progression. But I haven't heard that song in over 10 years, so I probably should go back to make sure... but I think that's the song. Take a listen to that one... that's what comes to mind most when I hear your chord progressions. And Tarantellas... I feel like you could write a Tarantella for each town in your state.

This is giving really strong farewell / falling action -> resolution vibes. It’d fit really intriguingly with a bittersweet ending, where - although our leads have been through life-changing experiences together - the consequences of their actions, their clashing worldviews, and their temperaments ultimately drive each other apart. Thus, they bifurcate with an impassioned yet melancholy, an abstruse kind of nostalgia that makes them both wonder how they moved on so quickly, yet how it’s so hard for them to forget. Haha, definitely not thinking about lore….

You are a true artist! I love listening to your music, and am happy to see that you are an inquiring brother in Christ! Here is what I think on this situation! He is the Creator, and we are the *created*. He is fully good, and we are not. We can not technically measure a sin level since we are imperfect, so how would we be able to accurately determine what would be "condemning"? But He also says that we "all fall short" so we are all condemned but He is the one who saves us. Also, He says to have "faith like a child" so to a certain point we will never be able to understand His goodness, glory, power, and justice, until we are in heaven. So I believe that we need to have faith ( alongside works, understanding, wisdom, and decernment ) in Him and admit that we will never be fully knowing.

This reminds me of a recent Roman Kim composition. Tragic, yet embellished with a beauty that detracts from the rawness of emotion

This sounds like something that’d be the ending theme of a vile yet beautifully atmospheric horror film where there’s constant political tension, a dramatic standoff/massacre at the end, and the corrupt system wins
