Thanks to my uncle John,i have managed to develop myself into the computers era after mid-90's,when he bought it for me first computer 386 Compaq Presario.Ever since,continuously upgraded my own desktop computer to a better one almost every year such as : 486 DX2 66 Mh ,Pentium 75 Mhz,Pentium1-166 Mhz - Non MMX,Duron 700 Mhz ,etc ,etc. Along the way i earned alot of experience which later on, i have put it to a good use.

Do you get 5.1 surround sound with bluetooth?
@@arthurjenkins7554 No mate, 5.1 surround system is selected from the remote control option feature : There are several presets that you can choose from Ex : 2.1 stereo speakers (music preset), using only front ones + subwoofer, secondly : Cinema with 5.1 sorround all speakers are included and third, would be Matrix selected 5.1 speekers with Dolby digital. Combined, with Creative Xtreme Gamer sound card, has indeed relevance and windows are shaking when watching a movie or playing a game. 😊 It's good hearing from you again. Regards !

Can active bass connect?
I don't think it has that feature built-in.
Still got mine, rocking solid, love the size. There's a little bit of noise (hiss) when turned on, but that's ok. I was thinking to swap the speakers for some of the Bose cubes, will it work? I assume the CS speakers are rated 6ohm...
You can replace the original speaker with anything you want, the only rule to keep in mind is, if they are higher than 4 ohms, then you still need to be careful, because you can fry the amplifier. Subwoofer has 8 ohms. Now, about the noise it may be something related with the capacitors that needs to be replaced firstly being verified. Try something else instead ; Set Volume from your sound card at : 60 -70% , until you're not hearing the noise anymore, secondly adjust the volume from your sound remote control somewhere to middle and it sound work properly. I don't think it has from what I know. At the minute 4:00 in the video you'll be able to see for yourself. But I have explained there that "Bluetooth" isn't discoverable. Hope it helps. Regards!

I don't think, you can connect it to your smartphone at all. Besides, the receiver isn't designed to be used for a purpose like that. You need a different type of keyboard.
i have a tusl2 , its power led is on but the board does not power on when i push the power button or short from power pins.. all caps seem ok. what could be the problem ?
Motherboard related issue there. If it doesn't power on at all it's likely to be Northbridge chipset, but in order to get a proper diagnostic you need electronic schematic of your board to identify which part involved doesn't work anymore. Try using a different power-supply and remove the board from the chassis, put it on a cardboard box, connect only cables from the power-supply required and short between two pins as "power-swich", see if it turns on or not. make sure all jumpers are set proper, clr cmos jumper is set to normal. Check 32khz crystal is generating in standby or not. Make sure CMOS battery is reading 3v+ on the socket 2 pins back of board.

i built my first ever pc about 9 months ago on a budget. got me a b450m ryzen7 3700x and 32gb ram with a msi 3070ti and 1.5tb nvme. i put the parts together but i havr no idea how they work or how to tweak it. your explaining because its clear to an amateur like me to understand.

Motherboard does have support and works very well with Xeon
I have explained, into the comments down below if you'll be willing to read it, the whole process issues that i faced with.The motherboard, had a short in south-bridge, which i kindly replaced it with a newer one, however the cost repair wasn't cheap at all.Entire motherboard, still has some weird problems going on, but it does work and booting normally.I agree with the fact that does support Xeon processors and can be also overclocked higher, but wasn't the case for me, since the first owner destroyed important parts from her, including some of the sata ports connectors as shown in the video.Best regards !
Well yours does ork as for mine. It fails miserably. Mine wont fire up at all. nothing. Im loking around for a good video about fuses on the board and how to find the leak.
@@jasonputtock4428 There are no fuses that you check on the motherboard in order to fix it. Capacitors, tranzistors, Smds, etc. There's also two important cipsetsets however called : Northbridge and south ridge, if one of them are damaged the board won't turn on at all. Something failed to run normally there and you need electronic schematic to find out what's going on. Take it, to an electronist to see if is reparable or not.

Yeah, I'm sure you do. Just try to remember that, Pentium 2 is overcloked from 233 MHz up to 336 MHz and everything was running fine without throttling. The speed frequency does matters. Good luck !

It depends. If one of the amplifiers is damaged and the other two are intact, then it should work just fine, but without the front ones or rear ones. The electronic schematic will tell you where to look for if need it. Good luck!
@@edward940 the thing is that someone tried to fix this years ago and failed to do it but they never returned any of those 3 and just told us that it is near impossible to find any replacements, when I checked the power supply the fuse has blown but was bridged by a tiny wire instead of fully replacing it and the transformer is already rusted so I wouldn't trust fixing it either, could you recommend where to both get a new power supply and 3 amplifier?
volume controls are also missing and wasn't returned so I also need to find a replacement one
@@Jingexz01 For amplifiersbparts you can look for it on ebay.com, also if you pause the video you'll be able to see the name of each component there ex : 1975 and underneath such as letters, make a note on a piece of paper and go for the search. As for the power supply unit, there's plenty that you can choose from at any electronic shop in your area there. Make sure you're finding an experienced electronist to deal with with this kind of repair thing.I'll be open my unit today and give you the numbers that are important.

Because it's worth investigating further, how they're build inside and their components.Back in the day there was no compromise what so ever.For example Forth 4th - Gen Haswell i7 processor from Lenovo G 50 - 80 mobile, on their circuit board the entire CPU is solder there, without using a normal socket cpu, in this way the cost are reduced consistently. Garbage in my terms is something that doesn't work at all and cannot be saved. Ain't no piece of crap old laptops to make reviews on. Reveal your opinion before making that kind of statement.

I have one of these and I'm typing my comment with it right now, and I must say it is an amazing keyboard lasting over 20 years and counting!

These were such exciting days in the PC world...I was 12-13 at the time, Voodoo 2 was IT, never had one though. Had a Deschutes PII-333 with 16mb ram, and a 16.8gb Hard drive (never fill that up at the time) w/ an STB Velocity Riva 128, and Turtle Beach montego sound. Smokin little machine for the time. The tech world was changing fast, as that PC was basically out of date in about 2-3yrs lol.

I can't advice you into choosing Pioneer VSX 321, over Sony Muteki overall, but I'm sure that complete home surround system can be fixed at electronic shop center in your area. Now talking about Pioneer VSX 321, that system isn't mine, my neighbor gave it to me for testing. The quality, is good in my opinion, but is unlikely to find the same system nowdays for sale. At least that's what I saw on eBay and Gumtree websites. Good luck !

No matter, the case you'll need just two male straight stereo Jack's that you can find it at any electronic shopping around 5 $ each.When connecting, pay attention at speakers such as front left and front right, afterwards, connect those wires into the back of your computer sound-card. I feel like i hit the lottery i found a set new in box on ebay about a month ago right before my birthday been looking for thies for quite some time my dad had a set back in the early 2000s i love em IMO they have better build quality and sound better then modern multimedia speakers (and look better to) compared to logitech z906 less bass for sure but thats not the point the z906s are 500 watts thies are 42 watt speakers and i would pick them over the logitechs no question paired with a sound card respectively. I think Logitech won the multimedia speaker PC war in the early to mid 2000s because sets like the x530 looks appealed to kids such a shame i know thies are cambridge soundworks/Creative but creative and logitech modern pc speakers screams QC you would think they would improve after all this time

Those "Cambridge 5.1 audio system", still rocks.Bass is enough and clarity is good, paired with a decent sound card such as : creative Xtreme gamer can deliver rich sound , either you're planning to use it for gaming or movies.I believe, Logitech has the crown 👑, since Creative haven't released for many years any eventual models for the market consumers.In my opinion their parts and design were better overall.I'm glad many people still like and appreciate their products. I bought many used ones on eBay, and anything since the E7 ketchup and mustard series seems to be always fine, newer ones are maybe better, but the older ones are maybe not as good. Still almost never problems with them, got them around 25€ on eBay.

My wired remote failed after 23 years, with lowest volume being quite loud and balance jumping between back and front - failed potentiometers. Just built a new remote with a big on/off switch and two guitar pots, which looks great and am now fully functional again 😊 Reverse engineered from the board; a few resistors, straw hat led and wires. Great speakers, which I got for free from a neighbour when I first moved to Exeter in my late teens!

If losing or breaking the original one could be tricky, because is hard to find replacement one that works for the system.Someone did ask me if it's possible to adapt a different type of "remote control" ....Now I have the proof. First thanks for the effort on sharing, but this doesn't work. I tried out of curiosity following your instructions carefully, but no it doesn't work (I already expected it not to work). What happens is, Google closed the access of older devices, this means you no longer can login to their services using older versions of Android (and 4.04 is on the list). Trying will only get you errors regarding "incorrect username/password" or "etc don't match" error. Still I'm very curious if you still own this device and if you are still able to login, if so, please share some details like your android version. I have tried multiple official Samsung roms and they just won't work, it's not a local (device) software issue, it's google servers blocking the connections for "security reasons" (older software wasn't secure enough). I managed to get this device working with other non official roms, then I can login etc (Android + and above), but those roms don't have the full implementation of Google services, meaning: it rarely works and crashes all the time, others have the MicroG implementation (open sources google play alternative) and works better, but you can't install the official apps like youtube or maps, etc, and if you manage to do it, they crash. It's understandable, this device is quite old. Anyway, Android 4.04 has little compatibility for apps, almost no modern app will run there. So please, if you still have the device and fully working, please share some details.
Everything I did is exactly in the video and worked for me just fine. It seems you're having an issue there blocking your device accessing the rooms downloads.(see if antivirus blocking the links provided there or try on another computer) I understand your frustration, but if none of your actions there wasn't successful, there's really nothing I can do for it. The tablet still works just great if you're asking me, even today. Battery however is getting worst. Do it again : -back-up your files and full reset the tablet; -flash the tablet using that rom Android Jellybean 4.0.1, using Odin flash tool(run that exe as administrator) -get the file from mediafire on a MicroSDxc memory-card and paste it into "downloads" folder of your tablet; -run the file, it should work just fine. -follow the steps without mistakes; That's all there is to it.
@@edward940 Thanks for the reply, I was just trying to expand some info and asking to see if there was something different (and nope I'm not complaining), again your effort and sharing is appreciated. My details here: I did the full backup, reset the tablet, flashed the rom indicated here, worked fine, moved the file (apk), ran the file, the store upgraded just fine, but it won't let me login, as it indicates the username and password don't match. This is not a user name error on my side, it's Google refusing logins to this version of Android, it didn't work with the original store, and it didn't work with this update. There used to be an option available at Google (online account) were we could enable "less secure apps", and this way SOME older versions of Android would still login, but that option was removed, I don't know if those who enabled it still have it working after being removed, in my case it was already removed. I was just checking out of curiosity hoping it would work, perhaps your tablet is different? some p7500 and P7510 are not exactly the same, and yes I did double check. Due to this not working I moved to Android 5.1 (previously I had Android 7). I have tried 5, 6, 7, cyanogenmod (4.something) and I don't remember the other version, I think it was 11 (supposedly). BTW trying the rom you suggested showed different apps, mine came with the US version rom, also tried the UK region. The apps I use are: Chromium, Via (browser), Xodo (PDF), GetPocket, Audials (radio and audio), and for KZread I use SkyTube and NewPipe (I can even download videos). I'm quite happy now with android 5.1 without the Google services (GAPPS), all the roms I tried had the same issue, you can install GAPPS but shows errors and crashed from time to time (the respective GAPPS package for each Android version). For those interested, there is an open source package called "microG" that mimics some of the Google apps services. Cool to know your tablet works great, mine came as a gift last week, also works great (not as fast as I would like to, but it was free), and yes, my battery is also kind of crazy, it last several hours pretty fine, decently, it's just reaching 30% where starts going nuts and suddenly drops to 17% and then to 5%. Otherwise is fine. I hope I didn't make you dizzy, just shared all these details because some people might find it useful. As said, I did follow your steps but didn't work on my end, perhaps some other day I'll try again.

I have never seen a 5.1 speaker setup with 4 satellites lined up ontop of a subwoofer…. Besides that, my DTT2200 still produces a crisp output in 2023, after so many years…
They're made, in Massachusetts United States, the quality of their parts back then was short of top notch for their time. Consumer could enjoy the cinema atmosphere without spending a fortune. Still for today standards is surely enough. Thumbs up!

I can't provide pictures unfortunately with the settings that i've made there, but I can guide you through them. -Multiplier set by : 20; -Bus Speed : 200; -Cpu Vcore : 1375V; Memory settings : 9-9-9-24, 1.5V. Other than that nothing. Just make sure you're using the latest bios revision and decent power-supply. Good luck!

Look for the driver from my post and you'll be able to install it by running the exe file. The connection type, for this keyboard is through Ps2 connector.
There is no voodoo 2 2000. It was voodoo 3 2000, 3000, 3500 I think. There was just "voodoo 2" and voodoo banshee.
Sony VAIO are always good & worth regarding swanky design if they are used with care and arn't worn out like sh.t. This model is equipped with powerful features. But hard- and software support is lousy. So thry to save the hidden setup partion if it still exists. My first Laptop was a VAIO 17"; quite heavy for IT Consultant usage, had to buy XP pro, due to the fact Sony use to deliver their PCs with consumer software and some multimdedia gadgets. Hardware upgrade and servicing can be a mess with Sony gears. I myself recently looked for similar Sony Laptops on the used market. Look for a similar donor Laptop with other problems I like to suggest.
Thank you for sharing, your opinion and knowledge regarding the VGN series, of Sony Vaio, honestly I didn't knew much about them or how they're holding up over time. Software support unavailable, but judging about the time that passed over them is understandable. Also understand you had issues with their customer support, sorry for that. I have looked, for parts on the, second-hand market, LCD replacement, but couldn't find any. On Ebay.com there is, but quite expensive, thinking best option for me is waiting even more. Wasn't able to fix it. If you follow the last video, you'll see the conclusion made there. Unlikely these motherboards tend to fail for no reason. The're very sensitive, however Gigabyte ones last over time without major issues. Try resetting the bios, there are two of them placed on the board with coresponded jumber, see in the technical manual, remove the cmos battery completely, processor, change it with another one that works 100% and ram also,change the power-supply with another that works and try again booting up the motherboard. If none of these methods works then it means goodbye Asus. I hope you'll be more lucky then me. Cheers!

@@AdrianSimiOFFICIAL Well no, try using two or three modules, these boards doesn't like booting up with only one stick of memory. Also try install a speaker to see if it beeps or not. Lastly you're confronting with two major issues : 1.It could have short in Southbridge and motherboard will not boot. 2: The most worst scenario would be Northbridge Chipset, very common problem, mine has that issue, after I replaced the Southbridge Chipset which wasn't cheap.You may also want to look inside the socket cpu to see if there are any bent pins, I have found some bent pins at my motherboard and straight them up.Try it out to see...
How to chnage from one to another bios? I change it in the bios from bios 2 to bios 1, and now i have nothing on display, just blank screen
Try resetting, the entire motherboard, at the back of i/o there's a button "reset" that you can use, just remove the wiring connections such as : mouse, keyboard and other peripherals inserted into the usbs. The motherboard will switch back automatically to proper bios in order to boot up normally. Hopefully it helps...
