It won’t hurt. Also reset the transmission. If the transmission is bad, the fluid may not help. How many miles since last fluid change?

I work for a utility. Unfortunately, there are a lot of local and state government permitting requirements that require the use of flaggers, whether the work is actually occurring that day or not. It is such a waste.

Couple things that you can do to cap over treated. What I prefer to do and cost effective is use lattice strips to create a distance between the aluminum and the treated lumber. Most coil boxes will label not to cover treated lumber. I've been doing siding for over 30+ years and I've never had a issue with using this method

Great video. What torque did you use for the filter bolts? I've also heard they need to be replaced but I got everything here except new bolts. Also I noticed, 2020+ models use a different transmission filter. For my 19 ZL1 I got the GM24291343.

I had it, got cyl 1 misfire code. Then progressed with cyl 3 too. Confirmed head gasket leak and replaced head gasket along with intake manifold (old one was ultra nasty) replaced most EGR components but thoroughly cleaned EGR cooler. Also replaced spark plugs. This was at 189k miles. At 205k I have cyl 4 misfiring. Same rough starting symptoms but it also runs rough while driving except it’s smooth at full throttle. Probably injector. Going to swap coils to rule it out quickly. Then looking at replacement of the original injectors.

You can do it! I rechecked my work since I only got 6 liters out (room temperature 25 C) and only used 6 liters at 77 C when refilling it, not the 8.1 liters everyone says it takes. And I drove it to get Tran temp up to 74C, then required only one brake torque to get to 77 C. Be careful as it can burn you. Not worth it.

maybe also cycle each gear and stay for a min each and in manual mode up to the highest gear stationary. then try to warm up the fluid

One of the more confusing things to me is what is considered level. Is it how the car would set on the ground, or level the car itself, or like you did and put a level on the trans pan. All of these are different and are going to change what the fluid level would be. But I think I’m going to go with the way you did it.

Vanden Plas is the name of coachbuilders who produced bodies for specialist and up-market automobile manufacturers. Latterly the name became a top-end luxury model designation for cars from subsidiaries of British Leyland and the Rover Group, being last used in 2009 to denote the top-luxury version of the Jaguar XJ (X350). The business began in 1870 in Brussels, Belgium, initially making axles later producing horse-drawn carriages. It was founded by Guillaume van den Plas, a blacksmith, and his three sons, Antoine, Henri and Willy, who later set up a branch in Paris. Guillaume's surname is Dutch meaning "from the lake". In 1884 they moved from Brussels to Antwerp. With increased business they opened a branch in Brussels again in 1890. By 1900, they worked with De Dion Bouton, Berlier, Germain and Packard. By 1908 Carrosserie Van den Plas had a workforce of 400 men producing 300 special bodies a year, and that soon increased to over 750.[1] The French branch ceased production in 1934 while the Belgian business was active until 1949.[2] The coachbuilders' name first appeared in the United Kingdom in 1906 when Métallurgique cars were imported with Carrosserie Van den Plas coachwork. The first Vanden Plas company in England was established by Warwick Wright (now Peugeot dealers) in 1913, building bodies under license from Carrosserie Van den Plas Belgium.
