Apple Guide Web

Apple Guide Web

Technology is everywhere. Whether at home, work, school, or anywhere else, you’re going to encounter it. You are even watching or this on an electronic device.

Here at Apple Guide, we want to take an elementary look at how to unlock your tech’s useful features and what makes it all work.

Our goal is to simplify what may appear to be a complicated tech topic into something everyone can understand. It’s designed for the average user, someone who turns on their computer to check their email, watch some TV, and pay the bills, but also wants to know how it all works.

We want to make meaningful and useful content while focusing on the Apple Ecosystem, like your iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, etc. But, we will be touching on topics that span wider than just the Apple Ecosystem, including Windows, Android, and other basic consumer electronics.

So, come along on the education journey and explore the power technology has placed in your hands.

    So how does one make a cell phone incapable of being a cell phone. Just a fun offgrid safe platform for offline games and such. No tracking no spying/listening to you?

    3:32 also somewhere in Accessibility, you can also add setup for a specific app. Its name sits at the bottom of main Accessibility under “General” and is named - PER-APP SETTINGS”. -

  • @dplj4428
    @dplj44282 ай бұрын

    Yes, there is gaming support. Accessibility itself has so many amazing features. Helpful to everyone even, not just for people wanting assistive touch, motor or vision help. - If an input device is not iPad-specific, then Accessibility Touch is the tool to use for full keyboard access and mouse. The two devices I wanted to use. Apple’s support and web pages seem to help just for its products. Also true so far as i could find for brands. Still worth reading what you find under the iOS/ iPadOS version content guides. - So much more was found on KZread. - Maybe you can find info on forums, but I usually feel more comfortable with KZreadrs.

    does this work for gaming?

  • @dplj4428
    @dplj44282 ай бұрын

    Yes, some gaming and controller support. I don’t game. Only recently learned about Accessibility on iPad as tool to get mouse and keyboard use on iPad, Android phones, etc. The default settings help. You can make assignments if you want a different choice. - My best learn has been from different friendly channels discovered from searching by key words and phrases. A little bit from the iPadOS/iOS version 17 content guides on the Apple support pages, almost nothing from the community forums or manufacturers.

    In pratice, anything over 2.5Ghz is useless for mobile, the hole point of having mobile phone is to have high coverage, if u start lowering the range why not just use wifi instead.

    The original Airport Express had a particularly good DAC (D to A converter) that provided unusually wonderful sound quality as well as exemplary measurements. The most recent Airports no longer have a DAC or an analog audio out which is a definite down side to those of us who recognized the original's use in quality audio systems.

    Apple claims others don't play well with them, but everyone, even companies "in the garden". It's bad habit like an only child dysfunctional kid. If I am already paying for a service why should I have to unsubscribe and resubscribe inside their app when it took them years to start playing with others nicely and that was forced due to some court cases of unfair elitist bs that they have been doing in hardware and have just moved into the next phase of it with their new M series Macs. Most people watched your video to solve one of two issues, All in One Solution (Apple is not the answer since they don't play nice) or how to add the subscription as channels that you already pay for (Looks like apple blocks that or the companies do bc they don't want to deal with Crapple BS).

    Wow feel so old since, I remember when the first Airport Base station and first internal Airport WiFi cards were brand new. Still have one of the old "space ship" designed Airport base station sitting in a box in my home. When these were new, most home users only had dial-up telephone Internet service. So, these units came with both an Ethernet port and a 56K modem port (smile...smile).

    This app is horrible.there’s no page dedicated to the apps you have connected. You have to scroll through random shows and episodes or manually search for the specific thing you want to watch or remember what streaming app you have connected.

    Is the Pi Zero still going strong for you? Funny enough I bought one of those *years* ago but I never did anything with it yet! lol. I also have a regular Raspberry Pi that I’ve used on and off for a bit but I like the idea of making it a dedicated appliance.
