This channel was all about the construction and hard work that involves making a multiplex cinema. But now I want to steer the channel in a different direction, still cinema related of course.

    Bro how did you manage to do aperture ramping without exposure change?

  • @CinemaProjectionTech
    @CinemaProjectionTech2 күн бұрын

    This was made just as a test to see if the depth of field is changing as it should, I just took a picture at each F stop and after edited them in the video to get this smooth transition, a real life aperture ramping is going to change exposure, but you can turn on Auto ISO that can help with a more seamless image if you want to ramp your aperture.

    Very interesting combination. I never thought putting different Anamorphic projection lenses into one. I love my ISCO ULTRA STAR RED x Canon FD combo but sometimes I feel it is too sharp. Your lens seems sharp but also very neutral to me. Very gentle falloff when its out of focus. I could see colorful streak flares. Are they the color of light source? Usually ISCO RED doesn't provide streak flare so is it created by Cinelux? I would like to try to make my ISCO RED short but no guts to do... Great video. Very inspiring.

  • @CinemaProjectionTech
    @CinemaProjectionTech7 ай бұрын

    Thanks for your comment :) The flares have the colors that you can see in the test footage regardless of the light source’s color. I believe this is due to the combination of coatings from the three lenses: FVD, Isco, and Schneider. I like that the lens is very sharp when stopped down to f4, but when opened to F2, it really has that anamorphic character with the focus falling off to the bottom and top of the image, and it’s sharp with a natural softness.

    You do it exactly the same way I did it in the beginning of the video, no need to mess with the tiny screws, mine was easy to unscrew because I already loosened it in advance, the first time I took it of it was very tight, I think yours it the same

    Someone needs to remind them that 4d/5d/6d/7d/10d whatever you call it local mall simulator systems are made for short animations where you ride a wacky roller coaster ish thing that flies off the track and flies into space or saw blades, or you fly airplanes/spaceships through a jungle or metro station with monsters and sh*t (and usually every text in these animations are either russian or chinese for some reason but anyway) this kind of thing, not to viev normal cinema films. Most 4d simulators have less seats since less people want to viev the same animation at once, and a cycle don't last longer than about 5 minutes anyway.

    I actually think the concept is really nice, You guys might actually plan to join the themepark industry with this large capacity application, this concept could actually be used for big dark ride experiences where you have a scene that guests board onto something (like a spacecraft for example) and you can decorate the interior as inside of the vehicle and have the moving seats placed in a way they'll face screens which are meant to be windows of such vehicle. You guys could even make a tamer version of flying theater concept of manifacturers like Intamin or Kuka robotics Your concept could be a superior to this thing they made, with slight modifications kzread.info/dash/bejne/m2epkpaTmMTSkbg.html
