  • @COMBINEDbyAlanna

    It's my pleasure! I don't really have nuts and seeds as I find them to be a bit heavy for me. If anything, I do have tahini and that works well for me. Nuts & seeds are best treated as starches - they lean heavier so dinnertime is best!

    Can you please share what you usually put in your smoothies? Do you add leafy greens? Also, do you eat smoothies and salad year round, or something else during the winter?

  • @COMBINEDbyAlanna
    @COMBINEDbyAlanna2 ай бұрын

    This smoothie had banana, papaya, celery, mint, and ginger. I genuinely crave a smoothie all year round and that comes with living the Cleansing Life! Your cell structure changes with how you eat so a smoothie at any time of year excites me. When it's a bit colder, I tend to lean more on bananas and denser fruits and in summers, I love to blend melons of all kind. Sometimes I add in spinach or kale but I tend to like those juiced more than blended.

    Truly, truly love this again. 'Use your spirit' - I think this is one of the most VALUABLE pieces of advice given in this whole talk. We can really find SO much clarity in a world that can feel really, really confusing by putting it in THIS context. Would this be possible/realistic without technology in terms of how I would actually FEEL doing it? Again this isn't to say that what's unnatural is always wrong/harmful, but what does it FEEL like? Also I love the way he encourages people to tune into their actual experience, their actual feelings, their actual LIVED LIVES and how things WORK vs. being so externally reliant on sources to 'tell us what's right' all the time. Again this isn't to say that there's never benefit in using technology or the wisdom of others as a guide - but again if something is TRULY beneficial, we will FEEL it. We will KNOW. We don't have to wonder so much and if we ARE wondering - that may be the answer we are looking for in terms of whether something is actually working ;) We have SO much more power to understand what is and isn't really helpful than we think. If we are willing to pay attention and look for how things FEEL, we can really get so much more information than we ever dreamed possible. Usually beyond what we were even aware there was to be aware of - this life REALLY opens you up to revelation and TRUE spirituality where we can receive and know so much beyond the norm. All if it connects together.

    This! Yes! It's about being in touch with ourselves and not looking for external validation or trying to live like somebody else. Something really cool about Gil: he has taken his ego out of everything (including watching videos of him educating). If everyone took a cue from that, this world would feel a dramatic, positive shift. I love your POV and what you're taking from this conversation. I'd love to have you join the COMBINED Community Patreon - we have a Community board where what you're saying really resonates with everyone involved and would be such a fun discussion to have! patreon.com/COMBINEDbyAlanna

    Omigoodness! This two part interview has been extremely helpful to me--three months into the lifestyle. Fabulous information. I would love for someone to create a chart of vibrational foods...he only got to the top of the less than FAB! Gosh, I'd make it pretty for them and it would be a lovely handout! Fascinating on counting--calories and content and just so much that clicked for me! Also in Part 1 he said that bone marrow is the last thing to cleanse in this lifestyle--the LAST organ--so how in the world could bone broth be good for us, especially with what we feed our cows? No snacks, no food after dinner~well that's doable for everyone!! I feel so safe in the wisdom of listening to my body and trusting the results. Thank you both!💛
