Hello ma'am, I had an MRI scan and X-ray done for my temporal joints. Everything came out normal, but I still have the same symptoms: pain while eating, quite a bit of pain in my jaw, neck, and temporal region, and sometimes eye pain. I don't know what to do. Please help me.🙏💖😔

Hi Dr Mistry, I have a slight tongue tie. I dont breath through my mouth, my tongue rests on my upper jaw. But my frenulumI is tight, and forward to the front end of my tounge. I did have braces and had to get two upper molers removed to bring my teeth back. I landed on your page because i was looking into tongue tie release reviews. I do snore, I have not gotten a sleep study. I also grind my teeth at night. But i am wondering if i would benefit from seeing a tmj doctor (I live in Canada, Ontario) or if i should get a tongue tie release procedure. I dont know which one would help my snoring. Please help!

I had custom orthotics made but my jaw was never relaxed with them because my teeth wouldn’t “rest together” right. I would constantly grind on the orthotic and move my teeth around to find a good position to relax in, but couldn’t. Would you say that’s because the orthotic perhaps just wasn’t made right or the right kind, or that I would just need a much longer time wearing it for my mouth to become used to it? It was made after connecting sticky measuring devices to my face to see on a screen where my jaw seemed comfortable most. The orthotics also began shifting my bite, so my bottom teeth would close right under my top teeth, making my smile no longer aligned then. My regular dentist urged me to stop wearing it immediately (the orthotic was made by a neuromuscular dentist).

Curious if you tried envypillow in your 2 year search or if you tried sleeping on a wedge pillow and with another pillow for your head/neck support. I've been doing this and it has seemed to take so much pressure off of my jaw and has helped. Since I started the wedge pillow headaches have drastically reduced. I'm using a wedge pillow then using a envypillow on top that. I'm intrigued by sleepwise though, thank you! Going to check it them out

Dr., I have middle ear pressure and vertigo, like everyone in here I have literally tried everything. My question now is this. I noticed that the tinnitus and ear pressure (tinnitus came first) started around the time that I had several extractions and several implants. One of my eye teeth feels loose after the tooth next to it was extracted but my general dentist said there’s nothing wrong. Also, I am missing my upper right molar in the very back but the endo said it really doesn’t need an implant. Can this scenario be causing the ear fullness, tinnitus and vertigo? Specifically, can dental nerve issues be causing this? Thanks!
