That blush looks really pretty and you got a nice look out of that Laura Gellar palette too! I still think I’m gonna give mine away tho 😅 I don’t like dry matte formulas that’s for sure haha I wish they would put some really desirable palettes in our BoxyCharm just once in awhile .. This is the most disappointing box I have ever received. And yes it’s been so so for a few months. But this month is the absolute worst ever. I’ve been a member for well over 5 years and this one takes the cake.
I bought a bunch of the clearance soaps a couple of weeks ago. I stocked up also! Some of the little hand sanitizers also. 😊 I got the little champagne toast one in the Allure box. Had to buy more!

Both are nice, but I think I like the ABH best.
I think the abh gives really good coverage whereas the CT doesn’t offer much. It’s beautiful but I do like a bit more coverage. :)
Love a good B&B sale. I didn’t find any soaps as discounted as you did good score on those.

I had a break out when using my bakuchiol. I kind of backed off with it. I haven’t tried Medik8 yet and now wondering if I should. Thanks for doing review ❤
Oh yikes, yea. If the bakuchiol gives you a reaction, this definitely probably will. But read through some of the comments the other ladies left on here. They have tips from their dermatologist and research on how to make it successful. But it does take a lot of time and patience to see any results, which I’m not sure if I have the stamina to try. 😂
My combo is trending and Bakuchiol oic but my skins combo and I'm 61
@@teresasawyers701 do you follow a dermatologist’s protocol? Or similar process of applying it every night? I am thinking if I had gone with less frequent doses, I might have been more successful. Combo skin is probably a little less sensitive as well I’m thinking. 🤔

Sher, I don't think you were given sound information on how to start a retinoid. Here are my Derm's instruction-1)wash your face and allow it to thoroughly dry for 30 minutes before application, He said wet skin will cause more irritation. 2. apply a thin layer of moisturizer(doing the sandwich method). He recommended La Roche Posay toleriane double repair. Wait 10 minutes. 3) Apply a PEA size drop of retinal for your entire face. More is not better! No need to put it on heavier in problem areas! I divide my pea sized drop into 4 sections on my face.He said to keep it away from the lip area because it will cause irritation. 4)wait 10 minutes and apply thin layer of the Toleriane double repair. He had me apply once per week for two weeks. Then twice a week for 3 weeks. Then every other night for 4 weeks. He said I would have purging because it goes deep into the skin and will pull junk out. I had this for 6 weeks. But most importantly my Derm said not to expect QUICK results. He said it takes a good 8 months to a year to see fine lines and discoloration improvements. He was correct. I have very dry skin and this worked for me. After a year I went on prescription tretinoin, starting back at just 2 nights a week. My prescription is for Altreno which is time released and is moisturizing with glycerin.. I am 65 and have very few wrinkles. I hope you can try it again in the future because the results are totally worth it!
Thank you so much. Great info! My friend did send me some of the info on sandwiching the moisturizer etc, But definitely I wasn’t given this good info from Medik8. I tried to follow their product instructions. But it really concerns me that this product doesn’t mention these things while not requiring a prescription or the instructions of a dermatologist. I had some sensitivity with Tretinoin as well but i had also done dermaplanning (which apparently is a no no with Tretinoin too.) So this makes sense. I went too hard on it. But I’m so happy to hear you’ve had great results with the product when following these tips. I may brave it sometime in the future with much more careful and patient methodology. I think I do get very discouraged by “purging” products though. I’m not sure I have the persistence to push through that part lol.

They both feel great. But I found the Pacifica Beauty to be more oily, so easier to glide. It didn’t absorb into the skin as much as the Kopari so it gave more of a body glow. ✨

The perfume oil sounds more Autumn than Summer to me.
I think the rum scent is summer like, but the more leather notes… yea… 🤔 I will have to see when I get to try it. 😂
I love that Sher is a reviewer not a sales person! She cares about us and not the quick buck! I hope she heals quickly and completely. I have balanced but sensitive skin with a lot of sun damage and I am 61. When I first got this in my box I did a lot of research and began this once a week using the sandwich method of moisturizer first, after 10 minutes Medik8, then my heavy moisturizer then bed. My second week 2 times a week still sandwiching it. 3rd week every other night and now I am on my 4th tube still using the sandwich method. I have one tube left then switching over to Mela B per my dermatologist. I strongly believe that Sher damaged her skins barrier. This is a strong product that they gave us without a lot of information on using it safely. I have seen a huge improvement in my skin and all of the extra work I did was worth it. I wish I had a before photo, but I never had a single issue with this. Be careful people just because it is not prescription does not mean it isn't dangerous. Ps: Never apply to nose or on eyelid area!

If I had it to do over, I would have approached it as you shared! 😂 I just wanted to do a review based on the Medik8 official instruction. Thst was a mistake though because you are correct that I just feel this info is not properly shared right. I followed the instructions given by Medik8. And as you said, if Allure gives us a Retinoid with no prescription, we need the dermatologist approved instructions. 😬

I got one of these from Sephora in Shade 3. I put it on with no primer and it performs very well. I think a primer would have kept this from absorbing into the skin and it would slide around like the ABH balm stick does. This Charlotte Tillbury had the right amount of blow too got a youthful look. Without a primer, I feel it added the proper amount of hydration.
Awesome. Yea I did try it another day without primer and I actually compared it to the ABH on both sides of the face. What a difference! It was so much thinner too than the ABH.

@@SherSharesBeauty for the ABH one, a setting powder on top is the only way I can use it. I may try a setting spray to see if that works better. I have combo skin so the balm by ABH is going to be worse for me in the summer months. I’m wondering if a gripping primer would help the ABH one. I usually use the Benefit Porefessional primer because I’m usually using a liquid foundation. That didn’t work at all with the ABH stick, it just made things worse. I really like the Charlotte Tilbury stick foundation. I think I’ll use it for a while. I may also play with the Wander Beauty powder foundation I got last month over just moisturizer.
Love your head band. Glad you’re on the mend. Looks great on you! Soft focus! I usually put a pore minimizing sunscreen underneath, haven’t used Wonder Glow. Awesome video!
Thanks, doing much better! Very grateful:) I do really like the wonder glow. It’s beautiful! not sure if it’s pore minimizing but it does seem to blur with a beautiful glow.
I’m trying really hard not to think that I’ve been scammed. I signed up, I paid, it’s been a week, I’ve gotten nothing. I haven’t gotten a single email about my purchase. In the Walmart app I can’t find any information about the beauty box or the subscription.
Hmm well I do know that the Walmart box is shipped in different phases so you could be stuck in a later batch. However if you didn’t get an email even, that sounds odd. I’d try doing a live chat with them in the app and just confirm your order. That’s the only way I get ahold of Walmart customer service.
