Even though not doing much against the black belt, the white belts ashi-waza is so much better than mine :))
Ahh, that ain't no white belt u faced.
Wearing a white belt doesn't mean you ARE a white belt... Moreover, they don't have other belts until brown I think... Anyway, all the throws of his opponent are coming out of nowhere, it's a pleasure to watch.
From age 12 all Judo-ka are white belts . To obtain the rank of Sho Dan they must first earn points competing against other white belts of the same or similr age at the monthly Tsukunami Shia held at the Kodokan and then perform Nage-no-kata and gain a passing grade.
That SHOULD be the hallmark of a black belt IMO: applying the student -pensum techniques out of nowhere from a variety of angles and positions with subtlety. However, many western schools nowadays seem to be pretty lax with their standards and I've come across some "black belts" that fight like green belts (middle of the way to black). Edit: I blame sports-oriented training, i.e. "you only need to get good at one technique !" and other nonsense.
Maymayat nokwa uncle to awan pelang danom na eta pag practisan na uncle
We also don't use colored belts at our school except for brown for some odd reason?
Im not sure the whitebelt or black belt are gaining much from this exchange.
Yes...both are.... the white is learning offencive teqnich ,,black belt learning , mercy and teaching strategies...it's very good for both..i recommend it..I'm black belt and always enjoy it
Believe me, he is. Every time I rolled with someone who was so much better than me but allowed me to walk around and feel around (as this guy is doing), I got so much better at awareness and positioning, even if it doesn't look that way. What the white belt needs to do is go fight other white belts after this encounter.
Muito bom esse treino.
Tbh the white belt guy is already making lots of sense, and he is 1000% better than me...lol
I'm not sure why he's wearing a white belt, he's clearly far from a beginner
@@richardoscar6536 idk if its true but i read somewhere that kodokan doesnt use colored belts
I was just thinking the same.
Did u sed how he entered that seoi nage? Although hes a white belt. The dynamic movement far exceeds his belt color
correct children under 12 yrs wear colored belts and Dan Grades wear black belts
Do they do leg takedowns there? Or did they dumb down their rules too
I think that i saw a few opportunities for Harai Goshi that weren't taken. And if he went more for Uchi Mata, it could mix up his opponent
You would have these black belts from the kodokan whimpering like little girls who lost thier dollies!
@@lunam7249 lmao that hurts me. I have heard about that happening a few times but have never seen it myself (fortunately). It seems like the people that i trained with were actual martial artists! If what you're saying is true, Judo is turning into damn BJJ :'(
@@lunam7249 Kodokan used to be badass. #MakeKodokanJudoGreatAgain
I was sarcastically joking my friend!!!!...I have met some of these guys from the kodokan....generations of judo....rondori as babies in diapers....they would absolutely kill anyone...many go the Olympic path....watching 2 black belts is one thing....you rondori with black belt is quite another painful experience..I have seen them roll up and pretzel USA state champion grapplers in less than 10 seconds!!terrifieing
A Japanese judo master went to Brazil gracie family in 1970s and the Japanese judo master taught them judo.....now bjj claims they invented it....lol! Hahaha!
Whooo that Tai Otoshi is slick 👌 My favorite throw

Where do I sign up?
why doesn't he tuck his jacket in? it is a shido in competition to leave it out untucked.
Because they’re not in a competition, and it’s just going to get pulled out again
Also a disadvantage leaving his gee like that!
this is just randori session just enjoy the vid bro
監督?は真ん中で立ち話すな
Black belt is absolutely superior (knowledge, experience, years on tatami, power, body mass), under these condition tai otoshi and whatever else he did must be good.
What a perfect tai otoshi i’ve just seen
この時はもの凄く鳥肌がたった
I assume they don't use the coloured belt system. Because that is not his first rodeo.
In Kodokan are only white and black belts like in the past?
good fight
Nice sode
Indeed a good self defense
Do you live over in Tokyo? I enjoy watching your kodokan footage!
not at the moment but hope to return one day when travel restrictions are lifted
Hermosa 🐇🐰🐰🐰🐰😗😗😗😁🥰😘
Lovely randori, and exactly the right attitude shown by both guys... resist by all means, but if the attacker's technique is good enough, let yourself be thrown. The one thing I am curious about is this: I thought the typical grip in Japanese Judo is a left-handed grip (left hand on lapel, right hand on the sleeve), and that this is because the right arm is usually the stronger one. Am I correct about this or not? Here, both these guys were predominantly using a right-handed grip (right hand on lapel, left on sleeve).
Right handed players will almost always grip the lapel with the right hand and the sleeve with the left ,the opposite is true for left handed players..
Shido!

His opening ko-uchi gari is not beginners level.... that is amazing for a white belt

Oh no!!! Why did they do that? I hope there's a way to flag other landlords about tenants who are like that. There should be a way to rate tenants/landlords as well like in airbnb so we can be made aware of the background of the tenants. I'm so sorry, Bryan. This is heartbreaking. P.S. Love the new kitchen! Hope the remodeling gets finished soon.
The reason I think was because of drugs and other criminality...the property manager took them to the court and they lost the bond they paid ($800aus held by gov authority ) and a judgment was made against them for full damages ..they were also put on a national list of bad tenants, so will have a very hard time renting a property again.. still I lost income and we have spent a very large amount to repair and renovate the property..disappointing but it happens some times..
@@nucopia ah that explains it. Glad justice was served. So in Australia there is such a list? A national list of bad tenants? We should have that here in the Philippines as well. That is a good idea. Thanks for sharing, Bryan!
@@PausePraySimplify yes it’s similar to a bad credit rating..you’r welcome Janice

why is he wearing a white belt?
Hi David he was training with the Kodokan junior program 3 hours every afternoon 6 days per week were all students start as a white belt.
