Capitalism and traditionalism are fundamentally at odds. No system that requires you to break all familial and friendship bonds to move to be a neo-feudal serf in a training academy and then a factory is compatible with the human spirit and dignity. Capitalism and the abomination of neo-conservatism are a disease of the mind that many have fallen victim to.

I’ve never heard a good excuse for ‘diversity’, it’s completely illogical to propose multiculturalism on a small island, in fact Ireland might be the prime country to expose the illogic at the heart of the ideology. How are entirely opposing cultures supposed to peacefully coexist on a small island? It’s never worked in the past and it sure as shit won’t work in the future. What Ireland needs is a healthy monoculture, one healthy and logical culture that brings people together and not divide them into separate and opposing interest groups.

The BBC continues to gaslight. They want to pump out coverage of situations that are not connected to Britain while completely disregarding news in the UK. People are fed up with the ongoing and facilitated replacement of natives by the BBC. The BBC is gaslighting local people with irrelevant information so that they lose a sense of the magnitude of what is in front of them. The slow replacement is achieved by the BBC by churning out a repeated and consistent flow of irrelevant information for the local viewer.

Automation has created new economic sectors, but there are limits to this. When the service sector finally gets automated -- like the agricultural and manufacturing sectors before it -- I don't see what the new sector will be. We can't all become artists or "influencers".

Irish nationalism is so much more complex than this and also, the idea that the intellectual centre of the Irish movement toward nationalism has not be aligned with anti-colonial struggles worldwide is just nonsense. Also -- a nation can be diverse and embrace incomers and continue to retain its unique cultural identity. That has been the history of our nation for thousands of years. Thankfully, the amplification of bigoted elements in Ireland (mainly by the British press) is being overshadowed by the solidarity with Palestine demonstrations taking place in Dublin this week. Also -- I am sick to death of non-Irish people making pronouncements about Ireland, as if the understand our national character.

Let's say I'm writing about the shape of the Earth, and I start by writing that "as I observe the horizont in the ocean, I can assume the Earth is flat". But as I write more pages and chapters, adding more analysis, I end up concluding the Earth is a globe. I can start by assuming it's worker's effort or time that quantifies value of labour, but then conclude that, regardless of the amount of value created by labour, the worker will get less than that. The employer keeps the extra. Every marxist I heard say that the labour theory of value states basically that the workers produce more value than they get.
