Hey does scrunchie number 2 only work with double sided fabric? Mine has come out with the wrong side showing as well as the right side in the ruffles 😕
@emilyy5004Ай бұрын
*should say I’ve sided gingham so there’s definitely a wrong side rather than your block colour. For this to work do we need to have colour on both sides

do we NEED two yarns? i only want it one color
@MaterialGrrrlz2 ай бұрын
you will need two strands of yarn for it to turn out the right size, but if you only want one color you can just hold two strands of the same color to make it work!

Lovelyyyy tutorial, thank you so much. I've made one with a single strand of yarn and a smaller hook, changed the pattern a little bit and it came out really good. ❤

Hiiii, can I ask some of what you did to alter the pattern? I have the perfect ball of yarn for this but only one.
@ingridsavelski9191Ай бұрын
Yes! I can't remember everything exactly because I improvised along the way...but basically I added more stitches and rows when making the initial rectangle, until it had a size similar to the one the tutorial is suggesting (because if I did it just like the tutorial, same amount of stitches and rows...it would've come out a lot smaller since I was using a 4.5 mm hook and thinner yarn). And then I followed all the rest of the steps, and crocheted until I liked the fit in my head. My suggestion is to try it on all the times you need it along the way...and if something is not looking right, undo it and try again!! That what i always do 😂
@avespb013Ай бұрын
@ingridsavelski9191 That's kind of what I thought you did. I've started mine by adding more rows and it's looking okay so far - after I started and restarted a few times 😬😅. Thank you for the advice!

how would you go about making the first one but with just the white fabric? im not quite sure where to find the white 'trim' thick enough replace what would be the gingham part too
@MaterialGrrrlz2 ай бұрын
with one piece of thick lace, you can skip the step of inserting the trim. sew the two short ends together with a french seam and then fold the non-trim edge over to create a channel for the elastic.
