  Late to the party as usual. So here's a hot take everyone is right. Deadpool has evolved over the years. The original Deadpool was created by Liefeld and Nicieza, and both have openly admitted Slade Wilson was an influence. Yet, the Deadpool connection to Ryan Reynolds happens in 2004 and even though Liefeld and Nicieza worked on that Cable and Deadpool issue, it is Louise Simonson that is credited with writing the famous line of Deadpool describing himself as looking like a censored Ryan Reynolds. Getting Reynold's to become a fan. However, the writer Joe Kelly is credited with giving us most of Deadpool's crazy Merc with a Mouth attitude and the famous line "With great power comes great coincidence." So yeah thank you for coming to my Deadpool Ted Talk.
