When you say it is easy, I tried 5 times and I broke my clip
Be careful with modge podge. It melts in the summer heat. I made a notepad with the modge podge and mailed it to my mom in AZ. The glue melted in her mailbox.
The video made it look so easy....... My hand became red😅
❤❤❤
thank you so much for doing this! from someone living in a country with very few materials for bookbinding, this is a big help!
It's so easy thank you miss❤
Use a weight to hold the papers and use your other hand to keep the thread loop from tangling, much easier to stitch finicky things this way✨
Jennifer, I just noticed that this video was 3 months ago. Are you still making videos on KZread, or are you making content on another platform?
THANKS YOU I LOVE YOU
I make patterns online and i wanna sell these somewhere
Super well done! Many thanks!
Thank you for the tutorial!
Clear and concise and clearing seen.
What glue do you use to paste leather and endsheets together for a bible?
Phoenix I went there one time with my grandma and it's so hot I even went to In-N-Out
Can’t wait to get one if these, will still use my awl for signatures but this will be great for covers
At 5:45 the links cover what you do so I can't see what you do. Would it be possible to have the links somewhere else?
Hi *Jennifer.* Hands down the finest scissors I've ever used are the *Japaense Kai scissors.* Needle-sharp, you get get a precision cut even with the very tip of the blades. Happy snipping!
Oh my goodness!! I could have used this for the trifold a we did. I will remember to use the tool edit tip. Thanks!🙏🏼
i did this with regular sewing thread but unfortunately after about 3 years (still quite a while tbf) it's started snapping so i'm going to try re-binding it with embroidery thread. i also found that the thin thread digs into the paper and wears down the holes quite a lot over time, as well as being more prone to loosening and making the book feel flimsy, although this might have just been more of a skill issue on my end haha, would be interested in hearing if other people also found this to happen if they tried using thinner thread!
This is so hard..
❤❤
Thank you so much
i actually learned how to crochet in school but i see this kit being super helpful for beginners (especially with the videos) and i think you did great for one of your first projects! 💖
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍Belíssimo!! Um passo a passo muito detalhado, tornando possível fazer junto e chegar próximo desse modelo.
This was great! Thanks!
I’m enjoying your back videos again. I agree with you about videoing becoming a chore, so it is nice to see you returning to your books. This is a binding I’ve not tried yet so am going to refer to this and your original tutorial. Many thanks, you explain well.
Why do people make videos that can’t talk properly.

Any one can make sketch book binding for coffee table book size is 330 width and height is 390 mm with spine 33 mm. Each page is to treated as one signature. Paper thickness is 200 gsm.
Is there any way to get the corners to look little cleaner?
Try wooly wonders kit
Thank you for the great tutorial! You made it so nice and easy to understand-very helpful!

Try Country Craft Creations for their spacers and also watch their free videos for the lay flat method of binding books.

Your my very 1st KZreadr whom I subscribe...
Fun fact: I was 8 days old when this video was created😂
I'm going to try something like this with a book that got ruined a bit when I left a peach in my backpack! Wish me luck haha
Excellent! Thank you. I'm all for improvisation, using what you've got, and saving money.
Yes!!!!
Is it suitable for watercolour sketchbooks?
So are you using 4 needles?
Hi! I just want to try something new and need deep detail on preparing thread and needle for book binding 😅.
Thanks a lot! I was precisely looking for a lay-flat technique with single sheet paper, this is exactly it! ♥️
I love this video!easy to follow and well explained!
It's so confusing.
This girlie is GOATED
Awesome!
Thank you so much!!! 😊
