Hope to matriculate here as a student. Had a chance to come here for undergrad but my financial situation wasn’t in order and I had to attend a state school. But for medical school I’m hoping I can call this stellar institution my home. ❤

I had to beg my doctor at the VA to give me a CT scan. I havent felt right, sense of doom, shortness of breath suddenly and yes I research. I asked for an exam. They tell me its anxiety and Im healthy. All they did at 1st was labs and a quick listen to my lungs. Yep...anxiety....🙄 So....Finally they give me a CT and they found numerous nodules, a soft tissue mass in my medastinum and my liver/spleen has innumerable calcified granulomas. I dont like this and im scared. Just wish they listened to me months ago

  • @rustyyb8450

Why not a vaccine created using antigen harvested from lab cell cultures impregnated with the antigen mRNA? The antigens of choice may be produced for use without the need for live virus. Totally avoid using the human body to produce the antigen.

Can there be updates on these videos? I see very little movement on surgeons using the robotic assistance procedures to repair the mitral valves. It seems that there is a lack of funding to hospitals to get the essentials to use robotic procedures and surgeons to operate. We are stuck with sternotomy as the only solution.

My husband has about an inch spiculated nodule in one lung and ground glass opacity in the other top half of the lung. The spiculated nodule is very suspect to be malignant, but what is the percentage estimate that the ground glass is malignant? Dr. Patel is our Pulmonologist in Spokane, Wa. He is amazing and we are waiting for him to do a Bronchial Biopsy. Thank you for any help you can offer in gaining knowledge of this.

One thing that’s not mentioned ever is Sleep Apnea and how it can play a pivotal role in people with Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Untreated Sleep Apnea affects glucose levels and not getting proper sleep is extremely hard on the whole body, leaving organs like the heart having to work harder that puts you at risk of Heart Attack, Stroke, Hypertension, Diabetes, even sudden death. I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea and my sleep doctor told me it’s going to be very hard to lose weight, after telling her I was diagnosed with Stage 3 liver fibrosis via a Fibroscan. For me, I cannot tolerate wearing a CPAP machine and I’m having a terrible time losing the weight my Gastroenterologist told me I need to lose to keep my condition from progressing; Liver Failure. I’m also on a psychiatric medication that causes weight gain, so not only am I obese from poor diet, I am because of Sleep Apnea and the medication I’m on. I go to the gym regularly, but I still have things keeping me from losing weight. I also don’t have a lot of energy because I’m not sleeping well. I have a feeling my doctor is going to tell me, because I haven’t lost the weight that could really help my situation, that I have to do something drastic like bariatric surgery or weight loss medication, like Ozempic. I didn’t want to go that route all these months that have passed, but I may not have a option now. It’s going to be coming up on 8 months I was suppose to lose 10% of my body weight, about 25 pounds, and I’ve only lost 10 pounds. Not good! 💔

I am almost 72 y/o and I have a small aortic aneurism. I am female. I am wondering if I should be seeking surgery to prevent it from getting worse or just have a CT scan yearly? What type of exercise is okay to do to stay otherwise healthy with this issue? Also, would vaccinations be okay to get, or should I stay away from them? Thank you.

Thank you for posting this video. I made the decision to get vaccinated twice so that I could fly for work Unfortunately, after receiving my second dose, I was diagnosed with COVID-19 and became severely ill. I spent several weeks bedridden, struggling to regain my strength. Even after I started feeling better, I continued to experience shortness of breath, continuous cough and phlegm, a rapid resting heartbeat, and persistent vomiting whether I was eating or just taking simple fluid! In December 2022, I was hospitalized for four days due to a high fever, respiratory issues, a nightmare of a cough causing me to literally choke, and unrelenting nausea and vomiting. After five days in the care of medical professionals at Broward General Hospital, they determined that my long-term lung problems were caused by COVID-19 via X-ray, and not once did they decide to do a Catscan. In May of 2023, following attendance at a family birthday celebration, I contracted COVID-19 yet again. Recently, as my lack of oxygen worsened leading me to suffer sleepless nights for almost 3 years and overwhelming exhaustion, I asked my doctor if an inhaler might be prescribed to address these symptoms which have been increasingly debilitating since then. My doctor decided it would be best to perform a CAT scan on my chest; sadly enough, he discovered indeterminate soft tissue density within the anterior mediastinum measuring 3.8 x 2.3 cm growth covering my thymus gland ( who knew we had a thymus gland) a small organ located deep between my lungs which is adjacent to my heart, lungs, and esophagus likely linked back somehow from when I first became sick 3 years prior! To make matters worse there's another test scheduled today a CAT scan with contrast and barium where contrast dye will show us whether or not is has spread all around additional organs (Heart, Lung, & Esophagus ). After today's results will come in we will develop a treatment plan that will need to alter drastically according to what they discover. For the many people who contracted COVID and have been experiencing the same or similar medical symptoms since COVID-19, I desperately encourage you to see your doctor, especially after learning I am no exception to this disease, as my friends and family have done more research this 2 past weeks than you can imagine, and I am not the only one who is presently fighting this rare disease likely all due to the pandemic of Covid19.
