Doesn’t look like the new by pass plug has a nose where you can ever pull it out. Seems like it would be impossible to put the factory one back in, if need be.
Jb weld your stock intercooler for time being, I know it’s an old video, I Jb welded my stock lb7 intercooler top and bottom and sides, With a s476sxe/87/1.1 About 60-65 psi. Been holding for 25, 000 miles so far with that turbo, Also revs to 4800rpm, 145, 000 miles on truck. I’m impressed that stuff works from not blowing a hole thus far. Just ordered a bd cool it 2 5/8” thick intercooler. Core is a complete 1” thicker. When time comes.
The worst transmission I’ve ever owned
I hope I mean just driving. My truck will hit 190. No problem with nothing behind it and that’s bull crap it does not need to be that hot.
OCD is a terrible affliction.
I’m here because I was backing out of garage and unfolded mirrors by accident, this helped tremendously popping them back together ❤
Definitely the wheels and tires
I just changed mine. Idle it everything was fine. Took it for a little drive (light load) everything was fine. When I got on the highway….ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE! I got a major fuel leak smoke everywhere. Towed it back to my shop took everything apart I noticed diesel around the fuel rail sensor (which I just replaced). I checked to make sure it was torqued down, it was, I checked all the fuel hoses around the fuel rail they’re secure and dry. Tightened everything up started the truck I revved it up to 2500rpms nothing no leaks no smoke……nothing. I’m very hesitant about taking back out on the road. Can someone plz help me!
U smacking killing me
Will stock trans hold that ?
Does this l5p has a muffler on it your black Denali sounds louder ??
The tech void the warranty because he gets pay up to double if he doesn’t warranty your engine. Example, if he did the engine replacement under warranty. He gets pay 15 hours to replace that engine. However if it’s Customer Pay/non warranty, he gets pay double that time. That’s just how that world works.
It’s everything it seems to be except for the screen, which does respond accurately. Nice truck man.
terrible audio for the sound clips
What does it mean when you go from 3rd then get “locked up”? What are you locking?
He’s locking up his torque converter
Did you plug off the hose port coming from the intake horn to the ccv
Will a PCV reroute eliminate the need for a MAP sensor spacer or does the soot build up on the MAP come from somewhere else? Thanks
How does the turbo drain hook up?
What does this mod do or change? What are the benefits?
not having an intercooler full of oil at 40k miles. less soot, due to substantially less oil ingested through intake, better boost because you aren't using boost to "Separate oil" which is a good idea.... in theory, but ends up acting just as a boost leak to your intake.
@@rocketssss6 new to the diesel game.. appreciate it thanks
We need part 2 of tge actuator turbo and see if you change the battery and the fix the problem man thank you so much
Nice Truck
Crazy my 24 has 73K already and not one problem at all. No CELs or anything. And believe me I’ve been waiting. I manage the DPF with the Banks iDash but other than that zero mods. I def wanna do the PCV reroute tho
I did mine at 3000 miles. Noticed greatly extended time between regens, and no oil in turbo inlet or intercooler tubes now, even after 10k miles. Only caveat, I dump to the ground, not back to intake.
Where is the turbo vane sensor in L5P? Is that a part of the actuator? I cant seem to find mine and getting the code.
Hey, thank you for the information. I installer the SNB air intake. What are your thoughts on that?
Great bunch of videos… seriously - I love it! Would you do this for me, and how much? I know the labor is very intensive. I use to do engine work - but I can’t anymore to being disabled.
Hey Denny wrong video When I delete do you think it’s time to get the entire turbo gasket kit for reinstall? Or do you think the Oems are good to reuse
Thanks for the in depth video!
Denny what’s your opinion on the 3.0 LZO duramax ?
Quistion I just replaced #5 injector plug and now I have no throttle can not rev the motor up?
Did you solve this?
Anyone else not able to get the 3/8 fuel line off???
WTF do you mean credits!? This ain’t Fallout bro, we ain’t swap n bottle caps and chicken feet! How much n dollars are we talking? Credits, coupons, tokens, etc.. is some carnival chicly cheese speak
What tuner do you recommend to write the tuning files?
What tuning did you use on the trans ?
So doing the vane relearn all it does is open and close the actuator??
How do you take the last bolt I try for hr and I give up, I did with many tools and try to figure out, if I end up not take out I go back in install everything back 😢
Get an Alan socket and mushroom it a bit. Then re hammer the t30
@@Itsadougs_life haha that a good idea, I end up with flex extension with the t40 and hammer 🔨 hard was little be hard but I make it lol thanks for your tip.
Any updates on deleting the 2024 trucks
Awesome build, is that cam something to think about on L5P . . Great Diesel
This will be great content! Thanks Denny, can’t wait to see the end result! Sled pulling is the ultimate report card for power mods and parts and equipment durability.
Cant wait to see what this trucks holds in the future will definitely stay tuned for the sled pulling one of my favorite things to watch hands down
Banks made over 1000 with stock bottom end. Maybe watch that series. He had to change the cam to make it work right.
You still got the 2020?
I emailed you a while back about a full delete package for my 2018 L5P, can you do a video over what all is included, for me and others that might be interested? Thanks!
Damn it I hate when there is no second video lol. Good stuff man, can't wait to see what the L5P can do. Not a Duramax guy, but it's boring at this point seeing 1k hp Cummins trucks.
Don't forget to upgrade the crankshaft so it doesn't bust the pins off the crankshaft
I have a 17 L5P very similar setup, but 150% overs and stock heads, 12m cp3, up pipes and down pipes, s472, it put down 860 to the wheel, 7in lift on 24x14 and 35/15.5
Impressive especially with that wheel and tire setup. Stock gearing?
@@joshuaquilliam2887yes sir
“Without further ado” please don’t’. Now get to building!
What are you doing for the trans?
Already has a wcfab built one installed
Do you have e a business number for some questions about lly tuning?
Can’t wait for parts 2/3. I have watched several of your videos in my mishaps with my own 17 with 423,000 miles on it now.
I posted on the FB 3rg gen Cummins group. Seems most say their Rams get ice cold ac that freezes them out. I've had 3 Rams (86, 05, 07) and none blew ice cold.
