O Hello. Bushcraft, Survival, Camping and Hiking. It is time to let the world see my adventures and hopefully inspire you to have some adventures of your own. The countryside is beautiful and we should enjoy it more. As humans, we have turned away from nature and evolved along a path of computers and the digital age. I believe it is important to be prepared and learn the skills that our ancestors used to survive in the wilderness. With an unchanging world, you just don’t know what’s what is around the corner, so Get of that games console, unplug from Facebook, Game of thrones can wait they have catch up now, get out there and enjoy the country side while we still have it. Hope you enjoy the channel and as always stay safe out there get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
PS when you do enjoy the great outdoors don't forget to take your rubbish home with you.

Looks like you have some good gear. I love norgie tops as well.
aye they are great tops especially when you wear the under the old jersey wool heavy jumper.
Great little kit. Thanks for posting.
Your presentation is always impeccable. The mind will not be satisfied without seeing the khal. ******************
Great kit loved the sharpener, maybe a tea light might have been cheaper for you any reason for the bought one? i think you might like to put your into categories to see if something is missing, well done i don't mean to sound bad, very good kit all in all. i shall now subscribe if you reply to me. thumbs up well done
Makes me wanan eat some ramen
That looks good and definitely will hit hard when camping
Would highly recommend it
If you want to be safe on the tinder side, you could get rid of that mess and add a couple of tampaxes and eventually a magnesium/ferrocerium firestarter instead (keeping the Bic lighter!). Use a sharpening stone to put 90 degrees spines on both sides of the file of your Victorinox mini. It makes it a good backup striker for the ferrocerium. You could even plaster the tin with Gorilla tape, wich has many uses and is excellent tinder. Swipe that cyalume for a cheap chinese led button flashlight too.
Some great ideas thanks 👍
I know a ex squaddie when i see one
Or Bootneck 🫢😂😂😂😂😂😂
About 10m of fighing line and some hooks and a couple split shot would make a good addition, maybe a thin plastic mirror. Fishing line can also be used for shelter building
Absolutely I always carry a reel of banklin/paracord be lost without it
Nice video, mate. I don't know that you're soliciting suggestions, but a foot of duct tape (gorilla tape works best for me) might also be handy. Can be used for a bandage, or gear repair, or fire lighting. You can also seal the tin with (good quality) electrical tape, which also has multiple uses besides keeping the tin water resistant. I also carry at least one H-shaped plaster in my kit (its the most versatile).
Thanks mate. That is a good idea might even put some tape on the inside of the lid to have for those reasons. The rubber band works better on my mini survival tin as it covers all the hinge and gaps
That looked beautiful 😊made me hungry now lol
It’s a really good outdoor meal and so easy definitely worth a try on your next trip out.
@@JohnnyPrepBushcraft i think i will try it sometime cheers mate 🙂
Nice Peterson bulldog thanks for sharing take it easy
Aye it a nice pipe. Thank you
Yes gas isn’t as effective in the cold in my opinion.
i beg you stop smoking ya mamas pipe
Beer fairy😮
if this was an AFFORDABLE Titanium set, i would consider it.
About 54 quid now. Last a lifetime well worth it
Thanks for Sharing. Much Appreciated.
Your very welcome thanks for watching 👍
Hoofing page royal
Thanks mate
nice one guys 👍
I have never eaten this MRE type of food! I always tought they are some low quality food full with conservants and aditives!
They are not the best. US ones are definitely the best in my opinion British ones have been improving but when you eat them over a long period of time you really get put off them and clogged up.
Bad
An hour and a half just time to walk to the village pub for a pint 😂
How long you let it cook for? 4 and a half hours?
Most times I’ve cooked meat that side 1 half to 2 hours is about right the stones are very hot. I don’t it with a leg of lamb before video is on the channel somewhere and previously done a rabbit but was under too long made like a rabbit jerky which was really nice
Double scranning at the end???
Absolutely has to be done. Had the noodles as a quick lunch when arrive then was a mile walk to the pub for scran late that evening
Cool fire pit guys👍
Thank you it worked a treat

Ewwwwwww 🤮
looking good
Thanks mate can’t beat a pipe session
I pretty much use alcohol now, cold weather it rocks along with no smoke very stealthy
good stuff esp the pipe session
An utter waste of space. You need to read Johnny Wiseman's SAS Survival Handbook.
It works for me I’ve carried one for years and used elements of it. Doesn’t take up much room and better to have and not need than to need and not have. I have indeed read that book I liked his idea of using a mess tin Asa larger survival tin. Have always been meaning to get round to making one. The crusader mess tin would be perfect for that task with the lid.
Love the content. Was looking at getting a new waterproof jacket and will give the Helikon a look now. Thanks
Cheers mate hope you are well. I would 100 percent recommend it best jacket I have ever had genuinely.
Lost your phone number when my UK phone died on me. Be good to catch up again some time. Been too long. Hope you're well buddy.
@@DiarmuidMurphy absolutely mate been too long. Send me your number to [email protected] and I’ll give you a bell
My go-toes for gear are Helikon, Tasmanian Tiger, Beez and USGI surplus.
@@justinc411 had a look at those company’s look really good but would cost me a lot in postage. Helikon is good especially the tex range. Only thing with the belt kit is the yoke isn’t the most comfortable thinking of swapping it with an old airborn webbing yoke. The Karrinore SF daysack has sentimental value I’ve carried it all round the world in every environment and it’s survived a lot with me and still in great order after 16 years zip on the top can be a bit temperamental but can’t complain after that amount of time and ops especially with the weight it’s had in it and things top flapped especially Javs.
Rather than leaving the burner to burn dry you could snuff it out with the bottom of your stainless cup and save the fuel.
Did think of the it’s just the way the mesh sits didn’t think it would get a seal. To be honest as well wanted to warm my hands with the rest 😂
Subd on the video short on the meth burner. Enjoyed the videos.
Likewise great videos on you channel, much appreciated 👍
