I remember in early sobriety in the 80s passing Bob Earl cassettes around and really needing the humour to let us know life was going to be ok.

Dick M's powerful share starts at about 27 minutes in. This is an anniversary meeting - whole meeting (even the announcements) was quite charming to listen to. Time capsule.

For future VODs, don't add music to the speaker. The focal point is to hear the person, not music. Many thanks. We appreciate the posting of speakers

I’d like to be able to find a female who talks about what they get out of relationships… pride = Security needs for some of us. Not the act of sexual needs. I’ve looked to find somebody talking about this but I can’t find any woman out there talking about this. Do you know of one? Please advise and share the link. If there is none, perhaps I will have to submit the KZread post so that other women can be helped… After I finish my step 4/5. Thank you

What it was like, what it was like … yes. I get burned out by meetings because it’s 25 minutes of formality, birthdays and preambles, followed by 25 minutes of “I had problems now I’m amazing!” advertisements, then 5 minutes of serenity prayer and “keep coming back-isms”. When does the “miracle” happen? I’ve been bone dry for nearly 4 years but still miserable af and trying every day to find the answers. Astrid, I love that you’re so real. You get it. Thank you for all you do and all you are.
