  I had to go watch the movie scene - scene to understand the movie. Your review actually made me go watch the movie even though I had seen the movie before your review I gave it no thought thinking it's one of those Nollywood love story. As for who the shinning star is in the movie, I think it's talking about the kids...the trauma the boy was made to face cost him his freedom as a child which led to him taking a terrible decision even when he was supposed to have called for the help of an adult. The outcome of the whole situation could actually lead to his dream of becoming a legend in the game he so love become hatred for it. Hus little friend who died also had her own dreams which became aborted untimely...that is another Shinning Star fallen. The essence of the story on my own part is just to let parents know how their choices in life, can either make or mar the child's future. And to end it on this note... Children are Shinning Stars to be nutured with love and care. Thank you Betha for making me go watch the movie.
