Interesting that Jackson Heidesch goes to the same high school that WNBA player Caitlin Clark attended, Dowling Catholic.

LOL at the pacer. Can’t believe Englehart is still a junior! She gets another year to annihilate the HS records. Would have loved to see her and Zealand in the same race.

Wow. Such an awesome standup guy. For such enormous accomplishments, he seems so humble. Not only is he an inspiration to youth across the nation, but for runners all ages. Heck, I am more than twice his age and he inspires me to believe in myself! 👏🏻

If Sadie had been able to keep slightly closer contact after 2.5 laps she probably wins this. Massive negative split, though. Very impressive!

I wonder if a HS record has ever been held for a shorter period of time. I mean, it could be one heat of a race to the next heat, or more likely one pole vaulter sets a record, the next vaulter breaks it. That might be even more likely with someone setting then immediately breaking their own record. But this is probably the record for setting and breaking a record.

Great athlete, let see what college brings. Still a ways to go to make it pro. Olympics, not anytime soon... 4:28:46 is still average even in a US field. This year Hiltz ran 4:16:35, St. Pierre ran 4:16:41. Kipyegon ran 4:07:54 in late 2023...
