The race was a great experience for Sadie. She is used to being in the lead and now she got a different perspective on what it feels like to run with a group and learn how to navigate around runners.

I wonder if a HS record has ever been held for a shorter period of time. I mean, it could be one heat of a race to the next heat, or more likely one pole vaulter sets a record, the next vaulter breaks it. That might be even more likely with someone setting then immediately breaking their own record. But this is probably the record for setting and breaking a record.

Great athlete, let see what college brings. Still a ways to go to make it pro. Olympics, not anytime soon... 4:28:46 is still average even in a US field. This year Hiltz ran 4:16:35, St. Pierre ran 4:16:41. Kipyegon ran 4:07:54 in late 2023...
