@JustinD93 Thank you. Please watch part 2 of the video. I did mention that I can see the temptation of many owners to release a bit more of that V8. To me it's perfect as it is stock. Would rather spend the money on further maintanance. Very personal choice in my opinion. Back box delete sounds amazing. Just not on a daily.

@@G-MOTIVE666 you have looked after the CL500 very well.. I'm tempted to buy one as they are cheap to buy now but the only 2 things worry me, how rotten they are underneath and the air suspension is ridiculously expensive to source and repair on these. I know the engines and gearboxes on these are incredible but if i buy one and it needs £2000 worth of welding and knackered ABC pump are airbags then before i know it I'm £3000 to £5000 just in putting it right... Then paying £2000 for one thats almost £8000-£10000 for one ... A lot of money if anything big goes wrong, but they are beautiful cars and have aged incredibly well

Same time you bought this, I also bought a CL of this generation, but a 65 AMG... By the way my seat adjuster panel on the passenger side is also loose!

@@G-MOTIVE666 I already have started spending money on the ABC but the car is worth every euros... the V12 is glorious! Obviously I can't use it as a daily driver like you to keep low the mileage but also because the fuel consumption is insane! 😆

Thank for your video. I like that model. The only concern is the air suspension, because it is getting a really nightmare when needs replacement, ( above 12 th cost for the four wheels struts, and the pump.)

@rogernemos795 Thank you. Yes that's true. In some ways this is why the cl is so cheap. With a good mechanic who can do ABC on these, someone can have an amazing car for little money.

Thanks for reviewing euro sts! wheels are factory painted, in us they dont get these wheels and brakes... (brembo) brakes are same in sts-v and mk1 cts-v and those wheels are from mk1 cts-v. only euro models get that setup.

Thank you. I will be looking at making a video very soon on my new purchase 04 CLK 55 AMG. I believe my highest mileage was just above 27mpg, however never had a chance to do a clean, motorway-only run to really see what the car can do fuel wise.
