I tot it would be way cooler if the skins were all themed around demons considering faker being the “unkillable demon king” which wasn’t fully realised in hall of legends skin imo. Didn’t really sense any team energy this time around like how: - IG all had feathers to represent the crane in the organisations logo - FPX all had the wing helmet to represent the Phoenix in the organisation logo - DRX all having dragon or star effects - EDG all having the shiny black effects This time around T1 skins all had unmatching effects and the blue just does not cook and the T1 logo in every AOE skill just seem so forced and can we talk about how Bard just decided to go with a different theme for the rest making the rest of the skin look underwhelming. Not only that comparing the prestige version of jayce vs last years Aatrox feels like a big difference, with jayce looking like a litteral chroma with different skill effect colour while aatrox having a completely new look. If I were to create these skins, the theme I would go for would be demon x military aesthetics, first giving them all military like coats/jackets and having their skills and character revolve around flame/lava or dark magic with the colour palette being black and red instead of red and the disgusting blue. I’ll just briefly describe each characters personality and see if you can create an equal image in your heads. - jayce being the aggressive, gungho one of the pack, wearing his jacket with 1 hand inside(refer to soul fighter yasuo from wild rift) tattoo on the other revealed with half his chest revealed as well or even a demonic hand - jayce prestige could be him realising his attribute of thunder/lightning instead of lava or dark magic embodying “Zeus” and definitely giving him white hair for the mythology accuracy and wearing his jacket properly - Lee sin could be the silent but loyal one of the pack, wearing the jacket exactly like oner wears it, could give him an eye patch on 1 eye for the bad ass look while the other embodying the flames or dark magic with the old Chinese military Helmet like in the video is fine and I think gauntlets would go well as well - orianna being the demon king’s secretary, calm and collected, the ball being the literally demon king’s head/ skull would be badass. Jacket being worn proper and considering being a secretary a mini skirt would be fitting as well with stockings - Jinx being enthusiastic, easy going of the pack, even wearing the jacket tied around the waist like those anime school girls and could opt for some bright colours over the red and black contrast like pink or blue to show trendy and girlishness like keychains or stickers on the characters jacket - Bard could literally be the strategist the wisest of the pack, or maybe the laziest of the pack (tot it would be funny to show contrast to bard’s usual all seeing omnipotent being character nature) with the jacket being prompt or showing some risk of breaking apart with little demons as the companions flying around would be funny All in all the character I feel from 2023 T1 has to be uncrowned kings or redemption considering 2022 defeat in finals both MSI and WORLDS and 2021 defeat in quarterfinals in WORLDS with the skin representing primordial demons rising up to the top challenging the heavens after falling back down so many times feels so good imo.
