I’m new to garmin 73sv and have livescope also. In your video you went into livescope simulator. Can we do this with transducer out of water, and do we have to have black box turned on when we do it?
@OutdoorQuests8 күн бұрын
Simulator mode doesn't require transducer's being connected or turned on. It simulates the transducer(s). You can turn your transducers on out of water for short durations, but Garmin recommends not leaving them on for any extended period of time out of water, as that can damage high-power transducers (1kw and higher transducers). High-powered transducers use water to keep them cool.

Why not loop knot both to get better action on the bottom jig
@OutdoorQuestsАй бұрын
IMO based on what I see on livescope, jig action isn't that important (if it even matters at all) in triggering crappie. I primarily like the efficiency of a double jig setup to test colors to see if one color is more effective than another. It's also a lot easier to see 2 jigs vs 1 on the sonar.
