J'irai voir en espérant ne pas être déçu. La mini série de Josée Dayan avec Depardieu et Ornella Mutti était déjà passionnante. Mon acteur préféré est Sergio Rubini excellent dans le rôle de Bertuccio. J'espère que ce long métrage sera au moins à la hauteur.

J'ai visionné la bande annonce, et au final, je reste sur la version tournée par Gérard Depardieu, tant sur l'intention que sur l'intensité et la charge émotionnelle. Le jeu d'acteurs ici semble trop "chorégraphique et aseptisé".

La version avec Depardieu n'est pas fidèle au roman quand je l'ai vu en 1998 lors sa sortie je l'avais aimer je n'avais jamais lu le roman depuis que j'ai lu le roman désolé cette version a trop défaut elle prend trop de liberté par rapport au roman la version la plus fidèle au roman reste celle de 1979 avec Jacques Wéber! Celle de 1961 avec Louis Jourdan est bien meilleur que la version avec Depardieu!

The film starring Jim Caviezel is the worst adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel. While the ending of the book in Edmond and Haydee's romance takes us back to the love between Césra and Cleopatra, the film starring Jim Cavizel takes us back to the ridiculous Hollywood endings.

the film is based on the book. The first adaptation is from 1918 in a French adaptation. And the 2002 film is a fanfic of the book. a rich man like the count would never return to his ex-fiancée. He would have a young and beautiful lover like Caesar had Cleopatra. And that's what happened in the book.

Canet est dramatique en Asterix, Lellouche passe derrière Depardieu ce qui est quand même compliqué! Jonathan Cohen est consternant, jamais drôle et super gênant à force d’essayer….😲 Quant à Cassel et Marion Cotillard, je n’ai même plus les mots! 😩

Once you know the whole book, condensed versions are just not good enough. Gerard Depardieu's version covered most of the book in a few episodes. There is another French version that covers the entire book from many years ago. A little slow going but true to the story. We will see what this one is all about. Hopefully, not too much "artistic license". 🙄

There is the 1979 miniseries with Jacques Weber, which was directed by Denys de La Patelliere, who is the father of one of the film's directors. The miniseries has almost all the plots of the book. It just doesn't show Albert's ex-fiancée running away with another woman. There is the film The Prisoner of Château d'If (1988). These two films are on KZread.

I expected an adaptation like that from Hollywood, but never from France. I watched the 1929 adaptation with Jean Angelo, the 1943 adaptation with Pierre Richard Willm, the 1954 adaptation with Jean Marais, the 1979 miniseries with Jacques Weber and the 1998 with Gerad Depardieu. Even the 1954 adaptation with Jena Marais which has a final duel scene, it doesn't abuse the action scenes and makes the Count a kind of John Wick or Batman. The Count may have his flaws, but he is a man who despite adversity, has his emotional balance like Ulysses. And he doesn't have an abusive relationship with Haydee. She is loyal and the Count just like Penelope loves and is faithful to Ulysses. The 1998 adaptation, with all its deviations from the book, was far superior to this vulgar adaptation.

Je suis beaucoup aimé ce film c'était impressionna c'est quand que Julien l'handicapé. Avec son père ils ont aller vers Iron Man à Nice un mec de tous les sports les bateaux les vélos le marathon j'aime beaucoup touché par le film c'était très beau le paysage il était magnifique
