Hi I currently have a writ declaration being submitted submitted to the old tenant to get a judgment, they already failed to follow court stipulation and did not follow the payment plan. Is the lawyer responsible to sending them to collections for me or should I do this while waiting for this court process? Should I wait for the judgement first?

I think we’ve been harassed by our landlord we live in a 9 story apartment building we live on the fourth floor of the apartment building and we’ve had to deal with a lot floods fires etc and the flood was so bad that it damaged our ac unit and they put an electrical box which is used for wifi access but we feel it’s a way for them to spy on us she’s turned down our water pressure and turned up our water to hot during summer time she’s raised our rent really high and they’ve been discriminating against me for not being disabled enough to have the low income rent and instead the landlord gives the low income rent to her family and the maintenance guy families they’ve entered our unit when we were not home the maintenance guy even told us he went in our apartment and my cat got out he claimed I flooded downstairs bathroom which was not true unless someone below us clogged their toilet and someone flushed it they’ve tooken pictures of my room without my moms consent and mine they shut the door while doing so they even came into our units during covid which they were not allowed to be doing during that time and they refuse to help us get out of here and they are rude to my brother as well they’ve raised the rent on him and they went into his apartment when he was not home either and the landlord was yelling at my brother too for late rent being extremely mean and rude to him and the other tenants across the hall from him throw alcohol at their wall cause he’s related to the maintenance guy they have beef with us cause the maintenance guy sister was dumbed by her boyfriend which is now my cousin’s boyfriend but even if that happened they should not be making us pay for it

Is it easier to evict the tenant for lapse of time on a monthly lease or to try to get him out for urinating In the hallways and Having so much trash in his apartment that we can't get rid of bed bugs.

I’m being harassed currently. I’ve had homemade shelves for 13 years. Made of 2x4s and they’re nice and neat. However I have a new property manager and he has just decided that these shelves need to go. Can he do that? He’s already got me to dismantle similar shelves on my porch and now he is coming for the interior. How can I fight this. If I get rid of these shelves I still need to buy new shelves which doesn’t make sense. This is so ridiculous. What can I do?

My landlord charged me for basic cleaning like dust and crumbs in the kitchen drawers. Here is his list. Cleaning: Various areas have dirt, debris, and/or residue that needs to be cleaned: - Surfaces: Window boxes in the basement, laundry room shelf, hardware in sinks, basement bathtub, kitchen cabinet doors and shelves, various closet shelves. - Floors: Stairwells, attic carpet. As a reminder, the lease agreement contains the provision that carpets are to have been professionally cleaned and a copy of the receipt provided to Property Manager. - Appliances: Stove hood filter, bottom oven broiler drawer, clothes washer interior rim. - Windows, window sills, frames, and window blinds. This isn't legit right?

If you don’t want to spend all of this time with this lengthy process filling for an eviction notice and hiring an attorney. Minnesota has another option that doesn’t get mentioned very much and is far easier than going through a bunch of hoops trying to evict someone. It’s 100% legal as a matter of fact Law enforcement will even help you fill out the forms, eagerly help you fill out the forms to be more specific. Very simple process, so simple that 75% of them are fraudulent and only 25% are legitimate. You don’t even need any evidence or proof that you have been harmed. The only requirement is that you have to know the person’s first and last name. If you can supply that you will be guaranteed relief in way of a Temporary HRO signed by a judge within a few hours. OFP’s , HRO’s , RO’s. etc have destroyed so many people’s lives because of how easy they are to obtain against someone. The sad thing about these orders are that an individual can make up lies against someone and be granted relief from a judge with no questions asked just take the person’s word for it. Known as an Ex-Parte order and what that accomplishes is favoritism towards the petitioner. That alone should be a conflict of interest, but it’s not of course. So here’s what it does prove, it proves that the defendant is guilty before his or her right of Due Process and is pronounced guilty for 14-20 days before the court date If by chance the judge decides that you the petitioner lied about everything you stated to be true, and wasn’t the judge may revoke your restraining order. Can you get in trouble for lying in court ? No you don’t get in any trouble, what usually happens is you won’t get what you asked for. Perjury is just a word that bares no weight. What if he’s my neighbor- promised to build a fence hasn’t- it’s been 2 years and he’s constantly in my yard w no prior notice- also telling friends that would park on the st he would shoot them?? Hes trying to evict me but hasn’t followed due process correctly so 🤷🏻♀️ he’s been paid and I don’t violate the lease- I just am a problem because I speak up for myself and know my rights 😅

Inspecting units can be done while pest control is there. That way it doesnt make your tenant feel like you are constantly in their apartment. You want your tenants to ensure they feel at home, not constantly prison checks in some ways. The good tenants you want them to resign their lease🎉🎉
