I just bought a 2022 (new old stock?) and found the video that shows how to fix the binding deck height adjustment knob. It turns very hard after the first use. I will try the lube and if that doesn't fix it it will mean a trip to the dealer. Does anyone know how to fix the faded/hard to read number issue on the adjustment knob?

Mine is flawless 32HP Vanguard with oil guard and it tackles most any WV hill I throw at it except steep down hill off camber, and I'm hoping some more aggressive atv radial tires fix that issue. This thing is a beast

Because generally commercial guys are the type that barely made it through their GED and the targeted advertisement from the big guys works really well on the low hanging fruit. I see a lot of commercial guys running "Toro" junk. Doesn't mean I'll be cutting my grass with one of those heaps.

I got so close to buying this mower. I did my research online and watched hours of online reviews of mowers. I also went to over 20 zero turn dealerships. The rz-hd blackout is an absolute beast of a mower and looks great. It made it to my top 2 but I found another brand that just beat them out.

I can really tell how proud he is of his design! I'm thinking of buying a SRT HD. I might wait till next year since the mowing season is almost over this year. They're beautiful lawn mowers, something I would be proud to own!

I've had a Spartan for about five years now. I like it. Don't have that seat. It seems like the company 'stays hungry' and keeps improving their product. My only complaint would be that the start button almost requires a tool to push it to make the connection. I don't think my wife would be able to start it, it's hard for me and I'm a builder.

You guys get it. The seat is where the operator spends all their time when mowing. And when you're putting hours in that seat every day, it's important that it smoothes out the rough edges. I know four people who have bought Spartan mowers since 2020 - two of whom are pros - and they can't find anything wrong with them. I have a wonderful 13-year old ExMark, but my next purchase is going to be a Spartan commercial zero-turn.

I had to change the hydro belt on mine yesterday, way to things had to be removed to get the belt off/on.. Other than that its a great machine

I got this mower specifically to be able to drive it through a 36 inch door kzread.infoUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend or gate It is a little tight with the grass deflector installed but has more clearance with the deflector replaced by the recycler/mulcher. This model appears to be popular and a little harder to find for that reason. I can't judge the dependability as I have only mowed the yard twice but everything else on the mower is very nice and working fine so far. I added options for the run hour timer, arm backrests, recycler/mulcher, towing bracket, deck lift assist and cover.

There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
