I have the feeling most of Les Arc's blue pistes are so flat they would be coloured green in many resorts. They can be good for easy cruising or admiring the scenery but not for improving technique (unless you're a complete beginner). You can find blue runs with a bit more gradient on the other side of the Vanoise Express (La Plagne).

Very nice video of Haifa. Thank you for sharing 😊👍 Your comments about the Baha’i Faith are correct, but Baha’i is not pronounced “bahi” It is pronounced Ba-ha-‘í . There are several videos on you tube where you can hear the correct pronunciation. I hope you get to see the Baha’i Gardens the next time you go to Haifa. The election mentioned takes place once every five years. Baha’is representing the national governing bodies from each of the 202 countries arrive for an international convention to elect the world governing body, the Universal House of Justice. The Baha’i Faith did not originate in Israel. Bahá’u’lláh, the prophet-founder of the Baha’i Faith came from Iran. He had become a follower of the Bab, who in Iran in May 1844 proclaimed a new age and that He was the promised Qaim that Shia Muslims were awaiting. But also that He was preparing the way for a even greater Messenger from God for our age. Thousands of Iranians flocked to the Bab, which alarmed the authorities and the priesthood, and extremely bloody persecutions commenced as the Babis were massacred in horrific ways in great numbers. Baha’u’llah and His family were exiled from Iran. In 1863, Baha’u’llah declared that He was the Messenger foretold by the Bab. His influence was great and far reaching, and the Iranian leaders wanted Him pushed further from Iran convincing the bordering Ottoman Empire to expel Baha’u’llah and His family even further. They were sent to Akko, which in 1863 was a prison city to which the Ottoman Empire sent political prisoners and others they wanted out of the way. Towards the end of His life prison conditions got better and He was able to move out of Akko to Bahji a place between Haifa and Akko where Baha’u’llah is buried today. Bahji is the most holy place on the planet to Baha’is. The Bab was martyred in Tabriz in 1850 and over the course of the next 50 years His remains were transferred under the guidance by Baha’u’llah from place to place to finally end up in Haifa. Baha’u’llah instructed His Son Abdu’l-Baha where to bury the Bab on Mount Carmel. The final structure with the golden dome was built right after WWII by Abdu’l-Baha’s grandson, Shoghi Effendi, appointed Guardian of the Baha’i Faith by his grandfather. For more info on the Baha’i Faith I recommend www.bahai.org

I was curious about HaKnesset Square, so I tried to find it on Google maps, and interestingly it shows the area as just being a road as recently as 4 years ago. Needless to say, it's a night and day difference with it now being a pedestrian plaza. What a nice change!

These are more like green pistes, narrow transition lines. Super boring, you actually need to use poles to get forward. Still amazes me how poorly people ski, even on these super mellow slopes.
