Useless, took my dog out, he got it off twice by rubbing his head on the floor, had to clip his collar though it” it wouldn’t fit through the loop, after that he spent the rest of the walk with it twisted and the nose strap kept going over one eye. Garbage avoid.

It’s a great concept but the plastic clip is cheap and breaks so easily. We’ve got a husky cross & have given up using these after having had to buy 3 in 18 months, much better to invest in a good well designed & made figure 8 lead.

Do not waste your time on this wasteless piece of plastic. The dog gets it off. The loops are useless. I'm sending mine back for a refund. This company should go under

If only Baskerville made a muzzle big enough for my English Mastiff Duke. Tried their largest one and it was too tight on his muzzle and wouldn't work.

These are legitimate concerns yet the company has not addressed them in the comments. 1. The collar ends up over the dogs eye and the lead connection around the side of its head. (I've seen videos like this) 2. Won't this choke the dog (like a collar) when it pulls if it is around the neck?

Would be better if you used a dog that was a puller and never had a halti collar on before then if I seen that working I’d run to the shop and buy one

My beautiful lil lady is a Black Labrador Dalmatian cross she turned one last week,it's sheer hell trying to walk her,I might try this, both my elbows are shot to bits. She just wants to love and play with everyone she sees, even if it's across the road.I love her to bits but walking time is really getting me down now to be honest hurts my arms.

Same with my lab pulls like crazy and is friendly as hell but is 30kg and she kills the hell out of my arms hands and fingers. Did this work for u. I bought the collar One thinking it could connect to harness stupidly. Going to have to switch probably

mmm looks really easy on a dog that doesn't pull already. Should try it on a rescue Frug that had no training from previous owners. He is walking a little better, but not really down to the harness. What I do like is that at least it does not allow pressure on the throat.

I think there are two ways one uses this. At their own dogs to 'train' them and those who are primarily focused on attempting to shoo/scare another other dog away to prevent any possible fighting between them

It’s not that simple: belts are many, not only one as in the video. Belts are very difficult to fit in the head of the dog. Process should be easier. Make only one belt to fit with a click

I’m not clear on the value of this video, clearly this dog walks fine, and the video neither described the 2 ways that this harness prevents pulling nor did it show it working on a dog that pulls. Is this product just a gimmick?

Something very VERY important you forgot to precise: do not PULL on your dog’s neck with a Halti!!!!! All you should do is gentle tugs, nothing more!!!!! You can (literally) break your dog’s neck if you yank him with this type of collar! It’s very important to keep in mind that the wrong use of a Halti head collar can lead to serious damage to your puppy (just like the use of a flat collar…) It’s also very important to keep in mind that the Halti collar is not a forever use kind of tool, the Halti collar doesn’t train your dog, but helps YOU train your dog. If you don’t train your dog with positive reinforcement (treats/petting when your dog slow down with a gentle tug, etc) rather than positive punishment (yanking, saying “no!” every seconds etc…), then you won’t see any progress. Also, it’s highly recommended to get the help of a trainer who’s used to this tool to correctly use it. Finally, remember to switch from the Halti to the flat collar from time to time during your walk, to not make your dog frustrated and in constant working condition but also allow him to cool down. The use of a Halti, should not restrict your dog’s ability to sniff around, pant etc, you have to let him be a dog too, it’s important to keep in mind that you use it for work with your dog. Personally, with my 2 (nearly 3) years old Eurasier, I took a trainer who introduced me to this tool and the effects of it are flagrant! No more pulling and he listens way better, she said that we’ll be able to remove it and continue the training without it in a matter of weeks with how fast my dog learns, which is cool, but not the same for every dog. If your dog, no matter what you tried, doesn’t like it or is very uncomfortable/stressed in it, then use a anti-pulling harness instead.

Muzzles ARE training tools. Most dogs don't need them, but some absolutely do. Any trainer who thinks muzzles aren't sometimes part of the training process clearly isn't experienced enough.
