    This light seems amazing for the price. As a lighting novice I have a question… if a light has CMY mixing what’s the point of the color wheel? Mainly for mixed colors and rainbow effect? Thanks

  • @TheatricallyJerry
    @TheatricallyJerry2 күн бұрын

    There are certain colors the CMY can't create that CMY can. Also mixing CMY and the color Wheel at the same time creates more dynamic colors.

  • @TheatricallyJerry

    To connect a external screen for visualizer you need to connect the Victory 3 to a Ethernet hub via Victory 3's Artnet port. Then connect a PC or Laptop to the hub via ethernet. Next go into the settings on the Victory 3 and enable Artnet. Hit setup-Network Settings to view and set a IP address, subnet and gateway. Then you can use your visualizer.

    What’s this for?

  • @TheatricallyJerry
    @TheatricallyJerry2 ай бұрын

    So the Artnet node has eight dmx-512 3-pin connectors on the back and I want to access them from the front so I created a pass or feed through. The Artnet node converts a single Artnet 4 signal and properly addresses each of the eight universes contained in each of the dmx ports on the back. When you mount a node to a flight case the ports are on the back and are hard to access so it's better to access them from the front.

I was about to buy a different brand of ArtNet node until I saw they updated the design. I wasn’t going to purchase unless I knew it was a legit node which is how I found your vid :). I mean it makes sense that it shows each battery charge cause not all batteries are same and its good to know which one is good and which one isnt! I think its amazing! I dont know why I went with the Lensgo hand held smoker... I mean I looked on Amazon and that one popped up first and I had already ordered it but than later on I saw this one and it reminds me of the Genie that costs 700 dollars and to be honest I like this ulanzi one much better. Its more sophisticated and I even think its built nicer! It def looks nicer and its only a 100 which is just as much as I paid for the lensgo cause the lensgo was on sale. Normaly its 128 but I actually paid 90 for it so im gonna return it and get this one instead. I really really like this one! The lensgo's tank is also leaking and I dont like that at all. To record a macro show you need to have the timecode window open. It's available when you select a empty workspace window. Once open there's a button on the lower left of the timecode window that says New. Once selected a option will show up displaying the show number and mode of the show. You can select it and choose from three timecode options: Internal Clock -MIDI MTC or Internal Music. After you select the timecode mode, hit apply. Then you press the record button and start using faders and your presets, whatever you press on the console is recorded automatically in the Macro show. Once finished hit release or clear and the record button again. The show can now be played back by pressing the play button. I can also make a video tutorial if that interests you as recording Macro Shows is more of a intermediate tutorial.

Even american light companies get their components from overseas they are just assembled here... That aside, you can get components by opening the fixture, looking at the PSU and finding the manufacturers name or the model of the PSU and googling the name.
