  Yes, it works on a "freemium" system where the basic version is free, but to get more functions you have to pay for the premium version.

  Not right from the editor. The easiest way to do it is to make a copy, rename the copy, and then delete half off of each copy.

  Hello, My edit function does not allow me to add text to images, only between. It also only has little Icons ie a magic wand, a microphone and music note... there is no video or master video listed....it this because I just got the app last night perhaps?

  I'm not familiar with Joox, but to add music, you need an audio file, such as an MP3. If Joox only allows you to play songs and not download them, then you would not use it. Of course, you could record a song off of Joox using Audacity or some other recorder, but using it would likely be a copyright violation.

  +Berna Dilekçi You need to pay for a plan to remove the logo. If you are doing a number of videos with WeVideo, I would advise paying for the $39/year plan, as it provides a number of benefits.

  Hi: 1. Unfortunately, it looks like you can't select more than one element at a time on the free plan. I don't know if it's part of the advanced editing features for the pay plans. Something like Camtasia Studio will provide more editing features like this. 2. The free plan has a limit of 5 minutes. The pricing for the pay plans is here: www.wevideo.com/hub#payment John

  Great job and so true. My friend Nellie Deustch is running a number of online conferences, one coming up called Moodle Mooc 7 will have a ton of presentations on various aspects of teaching and learning online and I think that group would really appreciate the "Teaching as Coaching" point of view. If you're interested, friend me up on FB or Linked In and/or bookmark Nellie's KZread channel (named Nellie Deutsch). As the time goes on that channel will have a playlist with speaker recruitment and other materials.

  Jan Edmarc Balallo Hi Jan: I've been away in Iceland, and so didn't see this until now. The free version just uploads it to their website. With the paid version you can download the video. The paid version is not that much, $48 per year, and so probably worth it. John

  This is a great video John! You might want to find a way to share the worksheet with folks who watch the video on KZread but aren't Northcentral University students or faculty. There's a lot of good material here that can help folks structure their own learning experiences. :-)

  Eric Escamilla Hi Eric. That's a good question. I don't know of one, since free programs generally run on a "freemium" model that requires you to pay for a video higher than 720 p.

  John Orlando After doing some online research I discovered ShotCut and OpenShot, both of which are open-source. Apparently both are great, however OpenShot is available for Linux machines only.

  This was recorded on my laptop running Windows 7. I have 8.1 on my desktop, and I don't believe that I've tried it on that one.

  Great job! I love that you get paid to do these. My favorite is Wordpress these days, but this is a great tutorial for people who are just starting to blog. And interesting for folks like me who have some experience but only with a few blogging systems.

  I live in River Falls WI from May to October and in FL from October to May! I get 75-80 degrees year round which means biking, hiking, camping, boating, swimming, and no winter ever! I finally gave away all of my winter clothes.
