For me, it's worth it, as economy class is more crowded and passengers have much less space.

But would you pay up to 2 or 3 times the price of an economy ticket for an economy seat and a forgettable meal on the plane

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I work for the airline and am also quite disappointed with the service that is being offered to our customers. There's an initiative inside the company to better our service offerings again but I personally feel like it lacks vision which is something that can be felt across the Lufthansa Group sadly... The new Allegris interior on long-haul flights should help justify the steep price somewhat but yeah; business class on short-haul flights is not worth the hundreds of Euros unless you're truly well-off. At least my colleagues on board are very nice. I fly about once or twice a month using my company discount and the flight attendants are extremely kind and helpful.

I was glad I didn't pay the full cash price. I think it was about 4 hundred euros. I paid, I think, 180 euros for Vienna to Heathrow via Frankfurt, then another 75 euros for an upgrade on the flight to Heathrow through bid for an upgraded. And until the 787s arrived, Lufthansa had an uncompetitive long-haul business. It is saying something when Condor, a German holiday airline, has a better business class product than the German national airline

Nah this is a joke. The complimentary service of Lufthansa on short haul flights/domestic flights used to be sandwiches with drinks such as juice, coffee and tea in economy class. At this point, what is difference between the flag carrier of Germany which you pay $100+ and those low cost airlines for a much cheaper price ? Only Air France I guess is still maintaining their usual complimentary service in Europe
@JackJackProductionsFlights4 күн бұрын
It is only AirFrance and KLM which still maintain their complimentary service, and even still KLM have reduced their service a little bit. I was on a KLM flight from Turin to Amsterdam, flight was about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and all we got was a cheese sandwich and a drink. I remember doing the 45 minute flight from Hamburg to Amsterdam in 2019 and getting a snack box. However on a 45 minute flight, a small water and a piece of chocolate is fine. I guess it is just a way of airlines to cut costs

Only to mention it. Condor gives out a little box of 2 very fine pralines.

Great videos! Love them. Were there self check in kiosks in LHR? Thanks

There are self bag drop machines at Heathrow for Aer Lingus. But if travelling on an Economy Saver and checking your large carry on in, then you will need to head to a staffed check in/ bag drop desk

Better than the LHR/LGW flights, where there's no free catering. 2x2 seating on the E190 is another bonus. I would consider pixellating the QR code and FF number on your BP.

Cityflyer is the better version of BA, although, I am yet to try Euroflyer. I agree that the 2 + 2 seating on the E190 is a bonus compared to the A320 family. I will consider either blurring the barcode and frequent flyer number on my boarding passes, or not including them in the video at all. Well, not the side with the information

Nice trip report! Incredible that TAP sent an A321LR on the 25 minutes hop to Faro, while they gave me an old A321 with really uncomfortable seats on a 4 hour flight to Cape Verde. Shameful!

Well it's probably down to aircraft availability. I used Google Flights to see it is was the LR or not. For flights showing as operated by the A321, look is it also says "on demand video". If it says that, it's the LR. If it doesn't say that is a normal A321 or A321neo

The entire city, especially St James' Park home of Newcastle United. However, I do love Greggs. Because with a Greggs breakfast, breakfast has never tasted better. And no sausage roll can beat a Greggs Sausage Roll
