Based on internet sources, serenity can be defined as a state of total calmness, peace and tranquility. When you experience serenity you are unbothered and untroubled by the stresses of life. Being a BLACK WOMAN in the midst of so much chaos and calamity in the world, achieving this peaceful disposition when it comes to self worth means that I am able to remain positive and reclaim control over any negative situation that threatens to diminish my self worth. I feel it necessary to remind black women that WE ARE COMPETENT, WE ARE WORTHY and WE ARE ENOUGH. To often we play apart in the damage that has been done to our self image and I believe that there is always time for us to make a shift and make changes to better our lives. We need to treat ourselves with respect and most importantly love the person we see in the mirror everyday. We are beautiful, we are feminine, we are lovely, we are radiant, we are divine. WE HAVE PURPOSE. Let's love us a little bit more.

Whenever a BW is dating or coupled with a WM there's always skepticism..The WM has a fetish or is only experimenting and will "have his fun" then drop the BW and go get a WW or people try to convince you that WM aren't really attracted to BW etc..But this nonsense never is said when BM date WW..Why? Because everyone has seen BM WW couples so most people realize BM and Ww can be and are attracted to each other..I think that the fact that you haven't seen as many WM BW couples causes all the questions and doubts IMO

As a dark black woman, I can tell you that many black women want a white man. Black men want to be with women outside the black race, but ridicule black women who want to date outside their race. I am a fine black woman, and I married a white man. You cannot believe the insults I endure from black men. Most black women look at me as if they wish they had a white man who loved them. Marrying a white man was the smartest thing I ever did.

An interesting tidbit: marriages between white men and black women are the most successful combination with the lowest divorce rate of all combinations (including same race) after asian man with asian woman- and they are close.
