Poverty brings out the jealousy and envy in some people. When it should bring out faith and trust in God to help them out of poverty. I had a student tell me once you are rich because you are a teacher and if I saw you on the street I would rob you. Because I want Starbucks coffee and what others have. Swahili is just a term only. People of the coast of TANZANIA are all Bantus with their BANTUS culture and customs still practicing until today. Even in Zanzibar there are BANTUS who leftover and there shiraz in Pemba. Shiraz are Arab. From tanga region in TANZANIA are BANTUS tribe called wadigo, wasambaa, wakwere, wabondei, wazaramo, wadengereko, wamatumbi, wamakua, wamakonde wamawia. All these tribes are BANTUS and are living on the coast of TANZANIA. And they have BANTUS traditions languages too. So what they adopted maybe the way how the wear clothes but they don't abandoned their culture.Arab can not understand Swahili language. Swahili language build from BANTUS traditions languages. Only for those in oman. Who kicked out from Zanzibar during Zanzibar revolution led by Tito okelo.those people of oman learned Bantu Swahili languages and took it to woman. If you think Swahili is Arab language go to Sudan, Egypt, saidia Arabia morocco, Libya, Syria Iraq , Yemen and other region speaking Arab and speak your Swahili, they will not understand you. Thus why our young ladies went to work in those countries they get difficult to learn Arab language. But most them came from Swahili speaking countries like TANZANIA, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda , eastern congo etc. so please before doing documentary , you need to go and. See they traditions culture what are they doing but not religious practices. Religion practice and ancestors traditions culture are two things different.
