A few things I like about your run: >You had the balls to use Cyan >You kept Ultima spam to a minimal >You didn't use Genji Glove/Master Scroll/Quick bullshit >You actually looked like you struggled in each phase but you got you starting 4 to Kekfa >Cyan ends Kefka as the final blow as the Old Klingon Proverb envisioned (I would have also accepted Gau using Yojimbo (Shock))

Awesome fight, it is crazy to me how much worse these boss sprites look than the previous iOS/Steam version. You can barely tell that blue bit at the top is Exdeath's body merged with the tree demon, and can barely tell that's supposed to be a tree to begin with, in iOS these are clear as crystal. In the 2nd phase you can vaguely tell there are multiple women, skeletons, dragons merged all together but with so little detail. I don't understand why they couldn't just import in the high-res enemy sprites vs still using the 1992 graphics

I love how Kefka starts out as a god in his speech with his twisted platitudes but then goes back to his demented self as his music starts. "You all sound like lines out of a self-help book." This line always made me laugh. It's like what would happen if you have a bratty child godlike powers.

That is *exactly* what they wanted Kefka to feel as. He is a child-minded clown given ultimate powers beyond our comprehension and the best he can come up with is a "Monument to non-existance" while not being able to grasp the powers at all himself. A child at what they think is the helm of a bulldozer but could flatten the planet if used right. That's Kefka.

I played all of the pixel remasters except FF2 because I fr hate that game, but I so wish they push an update where they add the bonus content the other remakes got like in the PSP versions/GBA versions, the bonus dungeons you got in FF1 and bosses was seriously dope and I enjoyed all the extra stuff to do in the other versions as well, lol except FF2

Even in 1991 they used 2D effects to create the illusion of depth in this battle. To see this look like a PowerPoint in 2023 with what they charge for it and how they market it really is insulting to its legacy.

You should have waited for the last song to loop once before you killed Kefka so I could listen to the whole thing. As good as FFXVI ends up being, I doubt it will hit as hard as 90's Final Fantasy. They had something special going on.
